I recently helped a friend mount a flat screen television to his wall. We wanted a articulating mount, so the tv can be moved around to be viewed at several different angles. Here is a picture of the tv where it originally was (on a dresser).
So now I had to call in some special help getting the mounting bracket open. Rocky to the rescue!
Next thing I did was figure out what tools I would need. A Phillips screw driver, a stud finder, a drill with a 7/16 bit (5.5mm), and a 1/2 inch (13mm) socket were all the tools I would need. First we had to mount the backer plate to the tv.
Next we had to find a stud with the stud finder, and drill the holes into it. After that we used the ratchet to fasten the bracket to the wall.
The next step was placing the tv on the bracket and installing the lock screw.
Then we were all done. Checked out everything to make sure it all still worked and Darts were on! Hope you enjoyed!
