Dear @inertia, can we please have a Simple user friendly front end for Dr Otto where we can login with steemconnect, choose our bid bot settings and launch our own bid bots on steembottracker?

Thank you @inertia for all the work you have done! I know we should do this ourselves so I would love to ask you how viable this idea is and if you could recommend the steps to make a simple front end for a Bid Bot creation which charges a small fee, and incentivizes people to buy more steempower and easily set up a Bid Bot.

We can increase the amount of bid bots and thus people who buy and power up steempower.

That would be really helpful to get my @foodforestbot up and running. It wont be a bid bot but will be a pay for upvote service similar to @treeplanter. I'll try to stay in the loop as to how this manifests. Any future posts on the deveolpment of this would be greatly appreciated @ackza and @inertia. Thanks for the heads up!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe how much effort you put into this request. Believe me, I know. Not a single typo, it's like. Wow.

So, yeah. I have occasionally worked on an electron front-end for Dr. Phil. I know you're talking about Dr. Otto, but I originally wanted to set my sights on something a little more simple.

Once it worked for Dr. Phil, it should be straight-forward to implement anything. But JavaScript just isn't one of my strong suits.

There's also RubyMotion. Wrapping a bot in RubyMotion would allow it to run natively on iOS, Android, and OS X, with a nice UI even. Problem is, RubyMotion doesn't currently support FFI, which Radiator and steem-ruby need. So I'd need to write some glue in Objective-C, which is also not my strong suit.

In the mean-time, you might consider looking for projects to stake instead. I know that dmania.lol will pay you to support them. I'm hoping to see more projects that do this.
