Feeling Swell - Act 3

Is love what remains when we release intension?
If the word love is too much, then how about happiness, satisfaction, well being, or the outward focus on all that is occurring without the slightest need to change a thing?

May we know this state, through resonance, by calibrating to that which is moving? Dropping non useful tension, are we more fully able to feel?

Fear creates tension, is it the non allowing, mostly of demise? (The passing of form)

Funny how so many philosophy teachers confuse death with suffering.

Death is inevitable,(as is life it would seam), whereas suffering increases with resistance.

Waving not drowning
If we do not accept that death is part of the organic cycles from which we arise, will we expend our energy trying to control rather than surf the waves we encounter?

All the structures we create to interrupt and re-chanel the flow of resources, add comfort and security for some it is true. They add predictability for sure. By stripping layers of biological complexity, we have simplified the food chains. Made our world easier to control, but at what cost?

Has this added control made us richer or poorer? More aware of our bodies and our surroundings, of each other? Or more desensitised to all but the most compelling of needs?

These are just lines of enquiry, they do not need to end in specific answers. I myself am quite literally sick of forming rigid opinions, or judgement calls on what is right or wrong. What simply is, is for more interesting... alive even.

All very metaphorical
Is it better that we form neat and tidy concepts to explain away our questions? Can our experts provide pre-packaged answers so that we go back to work? To being productive and valuable, so that we can be rewarded appropriately, justly. After all, life is not free and the world owes us nothing....or maybe not?

Should we meekly accept the "knowledge" of our experts into our own memory?
Or does our curiosity need to be experienced directly?
Do we need to find our own context? develop our own style, passion and understanding?
Are we not all sensitive and intrigued, "turned on" in very unique ways?
Is this inherent capability to specialise and express what we find, the peak of our potential?
What happens to our playfulness, our inquisitiveness, our fearlessness as we conform to the "realities" of life?

Special
While wild animals in their habitat, will strive to live, they boldly go about their purpose.
Humans are so incredibly adaptable, we are born with some instincts, but largely we are open to choose which skills and sensitivities we will develop and share. Some call this their purpose.

If we are fortunate we will be encouraged and supported in that development, if not, we may need to develop that support network also.

Is our purpose, not our intension?
Knowing when to go with flow and when to apply force is mastery, not mastery of nature, rather of memory. Of fear and of its opposite - the simultaneous joy of fragility and the inevitability of immortality.

Perhaps being immortal is the realisation that our bodies are but waves arising and falling in an ocean of biology?

Such a context changes what is most valuable no?

Individual forms or the flow of energy, of in-formation itself, in and out of life?

What is it that we resist? What is it that we cling to?

Are fear and Joy really just a matter of focus?
Is pain an invitation to expand, to shift focus?

Who chooses and when can that happen?

These writings are like smoke, writhing, turning and twisting, both form and formless. Simply, allowed to be. They mean nothing... for life is action not concept.

I may choose to stand rigid and become inflamed, or allow energy to pass and enjoy the swell.
