From Plants to the Bill of Rights: A Steemit Introduction

After I grew aeroponic cannabis in a low pressure system on 2 30 site tables I made out of $50 worth of pvc/fittings/sprayers and some panda film and flexible drainage pipe for the return for 2 1000w lights I watercooled by making a plexiglass tube and running spaghetti lines to it from a 35gal res that was in turn cooled by an ac which I dipped the cooling element in the water from, the only reason I would grow indoors would be for that(illegal), otherwise I think it's just a hobby (notwithstanding I made a bit of profit) and would rather spend the electric to learn about permaculture and biodynamics.

With the increased efficiency and effectiveness of LEDs coupled with advanced horticulture techniques a profitable indoor grow is totally possible. Brining a grow indoors would have to serve a purpose, and I am not speaking necessarily about cannabis but large indoor space can be converted into expansive vertical farms. The advantage of growing indoors is you can control every aspect of the environment but at the cost of electricity and usually flexibility.

Ok, let me flip it.
Floating islands growing aeroponic crops in the middle of the pacific/equator all year round BY robotic conveyor factories that harvest and plant long V shaped floating aeroponic systems which create the islands by being wound in a circle as they are relocated with the weather.

LEDs, panda film, pvc, or whatever materials necessary will never keep up or surpass growing under the big sun in the dirt, even my floating aeroponic setup couldn't surpass Permaculture design, even if you stack them 20 miles high the energy used to create and maintain them will be obliterated by any other system which takes advantage of the sun and dirt of the world. Go research Permaculture in the desert, when you can do that with LED's I will take notice.
