Lalalopoberlin Photography - introduceyourself

I was born in Heidelberg, Germany but grew up in Rabat Morocco. After High School I studied tourism and worked in Business Travel before I ended up studying at the FU Berlin. I gradauted with a BA of Arts in Publication and Communication in 2016.
Since my main interests have always been cultural and artistic movements, I moved to Berlin, Germany’s capital and center of creativity.
Here I have been involved in numerous projects, from photo exhibitions, music video shoots, film productions, experimental theatre and ended up managing the instrumental world fusion band @thetroublenotes and cofounding the initiative Berlin Street Music.
Always attracted by the various forms of art and means of expressing oneself I chose photography as my own medium to capture the multi-facetted environments I encounter during my travels.

Through my studies and working with different music groups, I regularly travel to different parts of the world and am always fascinated by their cultures and people.
A lot can be inferred about a culture through it's people but also architecture. Though the buildings differ in shape and size, one thing remains constant, their functionality. I am fascinated by discovering a new place by oberserving facades and the diverse architectures as they are often perceived as cultural symbols and as works of art. They are the mirror of historical civilizations who are often identified with their surviving architectural achievements.
