Hello. My name is Raymond. And I'm The Relationship Blogger

in introduceyourself •  9 years ago

Ok. Like most of the people I see posting right now I happened across this platform by chance. I was hanging on the breakout coin slack when they were talking about this community. I'm a stakeholder there and haven't really been interested too much in other coins, or anything other than what's happening with Breakout Coin.

Until this happened.

A coin that's centralised to my work. Wow. I can fuse my two delights together I thought and was off in an instant pasting some of my recent posts on here from my blog. I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it.

So let me start.

Hi, I'm Raymond.

That's me? See!

I write on the Huffington Post.

I have my own blog at The Relationship Blogger

And I'm an editor for Open Thought Vortex

I mainly write about relationships, mental health, abuse and coming to terms with my autism. I also emit an unnatural wave of compassion - so ride it if you need it.

Looks like I've also found another platform to write and submit posts to. I wonder what direction we will go off onto next. Seems exciting. Looks like I'll be investing.

Here's a few random facts.

Welcome Raymond, glad to have you here. Looking forward to your blogs, especially since you are a huffington post blogger, you've obviously got some writing chops!

Thanks, man. Been writing on and off for at least 4 years now. I always wanted to write but my Dad stamped that out of me. All back in force now, though! With a vengeance :)

Alright, I'll bite. What's your favorite coffee??

I like it. Nescafe Alta Rica for instant. Our ground coffee is quite poor here, much better in America. I loved all the ground stuff that was available over there :)

You never try coffee from Indonesia? luwak coffee or mandailing coffee?

I would really, really love to. I know Coffee from the Far East (what we call Indonesia) is sublime! So yes, I'd love to try it

A coworker of mine recently brought in Kopi Luwak and said it was phenomenal.

I've never tried that to be honest. But I'd love to :)

Ah, Nescafe instant is great! Gotta say I prefer the ground coffee as well though, hahah!

Yup. Nothing beats ground I'm afraid :)

Welcome! At some point I want to hear more about

My Dad worked in the Nuclear Industry which had us travelling the world when I was young . Spent five years in the USSR. Behind the veil of the iron curtain

Your life sounds too interesting =)

Ha! I'm actually writing a book about it as we speak. But, now that you mention it I can have one ready for you by tomorrow! And elaborate as much as I can. It'll also probably really surprise you what I have to say! Dolph Lungren and Raw Heat, et al aside lmao :)

good post,,

Thank you :) I hope to do more. Much more! :D

wellcome

Way better than my introductory post. Lol. Have a nice day

Thanks man! I hope you realise this was done over a year ago haha

Looking forward to this man!

Thank you - I am too :)

Hey Raymond! Good to have you. I'm basically new here myself, though I know some of these folks from the world of bitshares.

Here's a question that's particularly relevant to my life right now: have any tricks for getting a 4-month-old baby to sleep? Haha! Mine was sleeping great until a few nights ago and now she just won't have it...

Put her in the car seat and go for a car ride. Or take her for a midnight stroll in the pram - both of those worked a treat for Alex :)

When those didn't work I read to him, or rocked him to sleep. Other than that I haven't any other tips because our Son has always been an awesome sleeper :)

Thanks! This being-a-new-dad thing is tricky. :)

Thanks for joining.

Thank you :)

Hello Raymond, it is nice to meet you, would be a great deal for me to keep some contact with you.
My startup might need someone like you.

What do you need sir? :)

Have you tried Yoga for your son ? I've seen people getting excellent results from it .
Give it a shot ..!!!

No, but I'll give it a shot.
Thanks for this suggestion!
That seems to be an awesome idea. I know Yoga balances the mind as well as the physical :)

We have used yoga with positive result, Raymond. As with all autism issues, we struggle to stick with anything. Just Dance is a favorite in our house as well, as it infuses focused movement with screen time. :)

Ahh! I have Just Dance Shawna!! But our livingroom is too small - else it'd be a frequenter here :)
