Koalas 🐨

Koalas are adorable marsupials (Marsupials are the group of mammals commonly thought of as pouched mammals. They give live birth, but they do not have long gestation times like placental mammals.)native to Australia(one of the driest continents in the world) known for their fluffy ears and cute nose. They are arboreal herbivores that feed on eucalyptus leaves and spend most of their time sleeping in trees. The word 'koala' means “no drink”. Some ways to protect koalas are:
• Tell people Koalas are going extinct.
• Protect their habitat.
• Plant Koala food trees.
• Drive carefully and be vigilant.
They don't live in social groups. They share more common features with kangaroos than true bears. Koalas are facing threats from habitat destruction, wildfires, and disease.
