Today 1 day psychology talk came with a story of industrial and organizational psychology :)
I'm not really in my field ... I would like to post one of the topics that I have studied in my undergraduate but I remain impressed.
That's right! Hawthorne effect.

In the 1920s, the US factory at Hawthorne Works conducted a study of "how productivity affects workers' brightness".
Light is bright or dark -> Productivity?
To get answers to these causalities through experimentation, researchers set up groups that show similar productivity.
The researchers hypothesized that bright light would be more productive, and I wanted to see if it did so in the experiment.
I measured the productivity of each group after different lighting intensity and work,
But what 's going to happen ... Everything is more productive.
Is the lighting bright or dark and does not affect productivity?
Conclusion?
By the way, the researchers thought that there was an overall increase in productivity in all of the experimental groups.
I interviewed the employees who participated in the experiment and found out the reason.
Most employees thought that participating in the experiment, once a bright group, a group of dim lighting, was recognized for its competence.
('I am good at work so I can participate in experiments as a company representative!')
And he says he has worked harder by looking at the experimenters who are constantly measuring something.
After all, participating in the experiment rather than the brightness of the light itself has caused the productivity to increase.
This is called the Hawthorne effect (named after the experiment described above) because participants in the experiment are affected by the idea that they are in an experimental situation or because of the researcher / experimenter who is observing them.
I also participated in the psychology experiment quite a bit.
This is enough to be human good nature
I just wanted to help you just now.
I did not want to be a bad person to disappoint the experimenter, although I did not get any benefit from the experimenter's response. Rather, I want the experimenter to say what I want. I think that mind is unconsciously lifted.
The Hawthorne effect is the psychology students who learned in the first semester of the first semester of psychology, and it is the possibility that it is not likely that the general participant might like this? I thought about it.
Therefore, always keep in mind that the presence of the experimenter can affect the participant's response when conducting experiments.
Hawthorne effect, what would you like in your daily life?
Are not we going to do something harder when we think someone is watching?
I was better at sitting at the library table than studying alone sitting in the reading room.
The reading room desk is more spacious and comfortable for me to use, while the flat table is a large desk with 6 or 8 seats, which is narrow and the chair is uncomfortable.
However, the flat table is all over the place so you can see who is doing what.
On the contrary, it can be said that someone can see what I'm doing.
So I studied more well.
If you touch the phone, you will be stuck with something, and you should not be slow to read the book.
Even when you have to study on a holiday, you go to a nearby cafe even if you have a troublesome process of taking a shower and makeup rather than having to do it at home alone.
If I study alone at home ... I will have 10 minutes, Steam, 10 minutes, and I will be studying at a café with people.
Whoever said "Let's not study this kid" is not holding and observing each other.
How are you?
Today 1 day 1 Psychology story will finish here :)
Let 's have a warm night, and let' s develop healthy together today and
