There are indeed laws in place to prevent this, but are there still people in the legal system willing to apply or enforce them? When judges/prosecutors are considered "above the law" tyranny reigns!

As an ancient proverb puts it: "When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2).
