Squeeze the Day!

It was quite a roller coaster today I must say, which means I've spent a bit of time in an emotional mind rather than my preferred Wise Mind. It happens. Best to not judge myself for it because that would stick me right back into emotional mind. Let's just say I've had to deal with one hell of a plot twist in my life. And it could be good, could be bad. I just have to believe I'm going to be okay.

It's not the end of the world, after all. Although, plot twists can feel like that. One moment the path feels clear and all traffic lights are green and I'm just flowing through life, then, bam. Detour ahead. Deep Sigh What can I do. It is what it is and perhaps I can still accomplish my goals where I'm at.

I usually don't believe in coincidence. So this detour, just feels like one because of the expectations I've built up over time. I just so happen to be doing really well with the DBT group therapy I've started. Maybe moving wasn't the best solution, and adjusting my focus away from moving being the solution might just be what I need.

So, when life gave me lemons, "PLOT TWIST!" I have to remember all the solutions lay within. I don't live in the future, I live here and now so I have to do what I can with what I have. In the end I still have so much to be grateful for. Once again I just have to adapt and overcome. Hard to do, but nothing new. Let's see where this path leads.
