But at the same time, I'll make you notice one thing: The fact that you are trying to deviate the topic, and emphasise how "irrelevant" or "disinteresting" it is, makes it all the more relevant and interesting. It shows that you indeed have an interest in the topic or you would not be here, but you are uncomfortable with it, or you would not try to dismiss it.

And the fact that you'd say that a mere funny drama joke is more important (that I didn't know about, by the way, thanks for the tip) shows that the value you allot to this topic is one below normalcy, meaning that you feel something negative about it. You do feel an intimate connection with this topic, which is this negative feeling, and you want to make it go away to be more comfortable in your safe space.

I'm not particularly for/against any side here. I'm just showing you that your actions have a meaning different than the one your words imply.

Nope, you're reading way to far into it. I saw @trumpman was flagged over and over so I came to stir the pot. The topic could have been anything, lol.

Well, if it had been anything, you may not have wanted to outright dismiss it. But let's just make peace and start over. I'm Sharon! Nice to meet you. :3

Oh, I love talking with you. We have had a nice banter here all based on the fact I heard about 6 zero's on the radio today going to the doctors and you did not. I find that amazing and we have shown how to disagree, speak to each other and move on.

I never would have known about that stupid password if I didn't have a doctors appointment today, so meeting you and chatting made having to learn that was important news to the general public was worth it.

I have many LGB friends, not sure if I have ever met a T. I have also never heard it discussed with hatred or indifference except on social media and bias news outlets. That is why I love Steemit, people complain all the time but I never have to hear about it. I never knew Pepe the frog was racist until reading it on Steemit. I guess I am blessed to not spend much real time on social media outside of Steemit.

I can pop in and play devils advocate to any topic, I don't have thin skin. So if you ever need a topic wingman, just let me know.

I also love playing devil's advocate, but here on Steem I try to stay on the neutral side. Showing an opinion, pretending to have it or playing to pretend to have it can get you flags and an eternally bad rep if people misunderstand, misjudge, or appropriately understand and their intolerance makes them discriminate you.

The only time I let go of this rule, I got a big, fat flag from someone who misunderstood my trollish joke as serious.

I have talked to transexuals on Telegram and in online forums, but never in real life. I've never had a problem with them, though it's obviously strange because I'm unfamiliar with the situation.

I am not going to pretend to be something that I am not, if people want to flag me that is well within their rights. I am not going to edit or censor myself out of fear and neither should anyone else. That is where a lot of the problems come from on topics like these, people say what they think they want to hear in place of what they mean or feel.

My six zero comment didn't hurt the poster at all nor should it have made anyone mad, if it did that is a personal issue with the one affected.
