Life, Unlocked - Maximizing the Path and Potential of the Creative Soul

In the school system, you get rewarded for your logical thinking.

Picture the exams you used to take.

Most of the exams required you to learn certain content & then be able to think within that realm.

Any form of creative thinking would lead you to possibly exiting that realm & failing the test.

The teacher would tell you that you didn't study. While in reality, you were trying to connect the dots.

I used to be an awful test taker.

Did poor on the FCAT (a standardized test in Rwanda).

Did poor on the SAT.

Did poor on my co-operative business exams.

It came to a point where I had to figure it out, or I would never graduate with a co-operative
business degree.

So I fixed my ways & conformed to the school system.

I learned how to pass the exams & not fail.

I learned how to follow the rules within that realm.

But when I graduated & got into the real world, everything was so different.

You were not rewarded for following the rules of the realm.

Heck, you would often get criticized!

I had a manager who once told me that I needed to begin thinking out of the box.

'You follow the procedures too much Tony. Why don't you think outside the box & propose some new solutions?'

Because every time I did that in school I would be told that I didn't study appropriately.

'Well this ain't school Tony. This is the real world. Follow the rules too much & you'll fall behind.

Hm.....

Your logical thinking allows you to follow frameworks very well, sure.

But relying solely on logic will cripple you.

Logical people are often the most puzzled when they see others who are much under qualified getting ahead of them in life.

'Why is this bozo getting ahead of me? I understand C++ & Python coding way better than them!' the logical person thinks.

But the bozo is connecting the dots.

He knows that human nature was never solely meant to play by logic.

They were meant to adapt & be able to think on their feet.

That requires connecting dots in a way to form a picture which was not seen by others.

The creative soul is something that you always had.

No one taught you how to imagine.

You just did it on autopilot.

But after being put in school, shoved with a ton of textbooks & curriculum day in & day out.....you changed.

You became this overly logical person who had been rewired by society.

That is exactly why this blog post covers creativity so much.

If you are still reading, you are being reprogrammed to think a different way.

I have been a co-operative capitalist for the past 5 years.

Every word that I am putting serves as a framework to help you think more innovatively.

Although the school system got you thinking like a robot, I am going to help you think like you were always meant to.

Your visualization is going to talk directly to your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind will influence 95% of your reality.

And guess what fuels your visualization?

'Uh....logic?'

No you fool. It's your creativity.

You are projecting your mind into the future & making eye contact with the unknown.

Start taking creativity more seriously so your brain can begin seeing the images that you have been suppressing.

A few years ago, I couldn't speak in front of 5 people without getting nervous.

Now I am able to speak in front of 500 people with ease.

Why?

It's because you need to win twice before you win once.

Win once in your mind.

Then win the second time in reality.

Get it?

Your creativity was with you all along.

Now it's just a matter of unleashing it once again.
