Surrender - The Ultimate Practice

in life •  2 years ago

Surrender is a practice that involves meeting life as it is. It involves letting go of our efforts to change or control what is happening around us and accepting that the Divine has a greater plan for our lives. This practice is one that can produce positive change and new outcomes for our lives. Surrender also opens the mind and heart to new insights and awareness.

While surrender requires an enormous amount of strength and patience, it is possible to practice this practice in a safe environment. It does not require you to have a deep understanding of spiritual concepts, although it can make things easier. A master of surrender tends to be a master of flow and knows instinctively how to move with the energies present in a situation. They can move forward when doors open and sidestep unnecessary conflict and misunderstanding.

In order to practice surrender, you must be honest with yourself about your feelings and intentions. By doing so, you will develop a habit of being aware of the emotions and letting go of the things that aren't serving you. You can also practice mindfulness techniques, which help cultivate mental states that serve you.

When you practice surrender, you will find a deep sense of peace and serenity. It is possible to surrender to a higher power and still remain willing to fight for your position. The paradox of "Thy will be done" is best illustrated in the story of Krishna. The great mythical personification of higher will, Krishna, tells Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita: "Thy will be done" can mean both surrender and combat.

When you practice non-attachment, you are letting go of all self-attachment. This means that you can surrender your selfish desires and the fruits of your actions. This is also a practice that involves chanting the mantra "Om." The sound of the universe can help you to surrender to your own intentions.

Surrender is a valuable practice, but it is not an easy one. It takes dedication, awareness, and faith to achieve the goal of complete surrender. Surrender is not a good option if you don't like the outcome. But if you are willing to accept the outcome of a difficult situation, you can enhance your quality of life. My favorite spiritual teacher, Mickey Singer, a popular author, embodied a practice known as surrender. He made a decision in his early 20s to surrender to the flow of life.

To practice surrender, you have to stop and pause. Become present in the moment. Pay attention to the sensations in your body. You also need to be present with the energy of uncertainty and open your mind to the rest of the moment. By doing this, you will be able to see the world with new eyes and bring a sense of wonder into your life.
