There we go. Managed to live through the first day of school and one hectic week beforehand. Steemit has been suffering on that account, that much is true. I tried spreading my time as much as possible, but after 12h shifts my energy bar is quite low and find it hard to log sometimes. I always was 100% kind of person. I do everything 100% or don’t do it at all. I even do nothing at 100%. :) So maybe steemit will be my lesson in learning that even 50% is ok to do. That sometimes 50% also gets the thing done and I don’t need to perfect everything.

Since I already did (and recycled some old ones that turned out to be good) my yearly plan for all the classes and even some daily ones for 2 months ahead, I think it’s safe to say … I’m ready to tackle this school year and am taking this weekend off. Well maybe just today. I still have a few things to manage for the upcoming week.

I did manage to do some doodles in the mid time. You can find them at @wrongjohn and @patrice. You can find them here and here. Thank you both for asking and liking “my work”.

So in the honor of doing nothing I am planning a marathon of playing dos games.

Unless you are @saywha. He made an appointment.

Wow Lost Vikings =)

i did re - play it some.. 5,6 years ago using nintendo emulator.. still have huge folder with tone of roms. last one i hooked on was Shining Force.

avoid whole numbers like 50 and 100%... always do it like 52,43%, or 17,34%.. it gives you sense of knowing exactly what are you doing ;D

hahaha lol. Cool. 52,43% it is.

Did you notice that in a way games were super harder back then? Maybe cuz I didnt get any walkthroughs... I'm playing commander keen today. :D

Perfectionism can be so paralysing, I definitely agree it's fine to give less than 100% sometimes :)

What a great way of putting it @catonwheels!!!

Congrats for everything, including realizing the 50% thingy.

Manic Miner?

Never played that one...any good?

A classic. But now I've realized that I made a mistake. Manic Miner is a pre DOS era game. ZX Spectrum :)

Actually now realised I did play this before....moving is really painful :D

Enjoy your dos games. They're the best.

Steemit can teach you so much. Like, before you get enough Steem power you can only vote either 0% or 100%. But your power runs out and you get fatigued so quickly, you can't spread the love the way you'd like!

So when you've earned your place, you get the slider and suddenly it's ok to vote 20% or 39%

12h shifts? Take a rest and regain some power :) the pictures brought me here. It was one of my favorite games when i was child. Yesterday i got my raspberry pi and was thinking just about this game. Spooky :)
