Thanks so much for all the advice. I will check them all out and let you know what I buy. I'm not sure I care either way on the multi tool.

As far as multi tools go, I only trust one company personally which is Leatherman. I've been using a Leatherman Wingman for probably 3 or 4 years and love it, they're around $25. Another good one is the Leatherman Skeletool, though you'd have to catch it on sale which it does go on occasionally to get it for under $40-50. The Leatherman Squirt is another highly recommended model to look at, it's like $32-33 if I recall correctly. There's also the Leatherman 831207/831488, each one is different depending on if you want scissors or pliers but they're both around $25. And, one more option if you're wanting something small for your keychain would be the Leatherman Micra. I bought one for my girlfriend and she's used it quite a bit and it's held up.
