Great Pyramid Perfectly Aligned Secret Can Be Resolved

Despite its slight disproportion, the Great Pyramid in Gize is considered an ancient engineering wonder. Now an archaeologist has resolved how the Egyptians aligned this monument almost perfectly in four main directions. According to the study, autumn equinox could be used.

The autumn equinox, the summer and winter solstice is full of fruit; the day and the length of the night are nearly the same due to the inclination of Earth.

About 4,500 years ago, the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu built the Pyramid of Gize, which is considered the "world's greatest" by the ancient pyramids, the largest of the three pyramids on the Gize plain (138 meters in length) and ancient writers.

It seems that the builders of the pyramids, in a way, designed this ancient marvel very delicately.

"The masters of the Great Khufu Pyramid were aligned in perfect harmony with the main directions," says Glen Dash, an engineer who conducts research on the Pyramids of Gize.

The Kefren Pyramid in Gize and the Red Pyramid in Dahshur were also made in perfect alignment. "These three pyramids had the same mistake. They turned slightly from clockwise to counter-clockwise. "

The researchers are more than a hundred years old, and the theories about how the ancient Egyptians' pyramids may have aligned with such a righteousness in the main directions. In a new study, Dash explains how to use the autumn equinox for this technique.

Shadows and Gize in Connecticut
Dash, on September 22, 2016, in Connecticut during the autumn equinox, placed a stick on a wooden platform and pointed the spot of the bar across the day.

"During the equinox, the shadow is standing on a straight line and extending almost seamlessly in the east-west direction."

If the error is a small degree, it tends slightly counterclockwise. Just like the Great Pyramid, Kefren Pyramid and Red Pyramide. In the autumn equinox, Earth's inclination allows it to move in this east-west direction of the shadow.

The experiment was carried out in Connecticut, but the technique should have worked in Giza. For your technique to work, the ancient Egyptians (or any researcher) would ideally need sunny weather. Most of the days in Gize were already like that.

The occasional clouds did not pose a problem. The bar could be placed on a wooden platform or in Gize. The Egyptians must have calculated the coming of the autumn equinox 91 days after the summer solstice.

Did the ancient Egyptians use this method?
The last experiment shows that the autumn equinox may have been used for the alignment of these three pyramids. However, it is not known whether the ancient Egyptians used this technique.

Experiments over the past few decades suggest that the Sun or stars may have been used to align the pyramids.

Unfortunately, however, the Ancient Egyptians did not provide written evidence of what they were using to build these structures. No technical explanations, engineering documents or architectural plans have been found to show how ancient Egyptians aligned any of the temples or pyramids. In fact, they may have used more than one method to align the pyramids.

But the autumn equinox method has an advantage over other methods: it is much easier to use! Other methods require more stages and are more complex.

"Conceptually or practically, it is hard to imagine a method that could be simpler than the autumn equinox method."
