Steem indeed is a giant . Investors in other cryptos have nothing to look up to than just staring at charts and hoping the price recovers ,here we are able to increase our steem and sbd holdings without necessarily investing extra.

Thanks for the positive post.

I, too, am super bullish on STEEM. I am holding to $100 by year end. You summed up all that is going on.

SMTs are going to be a real game changer in my opinion. The creation of new tokens will bring a ton of traffic to this blockchain. More traffic equals more bandwidth needed which is priced in STEEM. Plus I expect a few airdrops to SP holders to try and lure them to the newer sites in an effort to generate some activity (and bring some people with high upvotes).

2018 is going to be an amazing year for not only STEEM but cryptos in general. I just put up a post detailing how the money on Wall Street isnt even here. The institutions are still on the sidelines..forget billions, they deal in trillions.

why is sbd at $2 now on bitshares exchange?

why did one of the founders i think #ned power down 72 million steem?

The main issue I am seeing is that there are so many spam/begging/inane posts that it is difficult to find decent content.

Another question, with all of this growth, if the number of witnesses is not growing how does the blockchain store all of this new content? Like video?

Another question, if you are a witness running a server, how much storage do you need to have right now, and how much should be planning to have for next month?

In general I am having difficulty finding any community willing to discuss the actual issues.

I am brand new to STEEM, but like what I see so far in the community. I also was new to crypto all together late last year and it is amazing in the speed in which these platforms/technologies progress. I have so much to learn and am grateful for all those that are sharing good information.

You're so right about cycling in London. It's not only a death wish, people do die a lot - hit by cars on the road while cycling. It was one of the things I was astonished by in Amsterdam when I first went. I actually thing it's more crazy in Amsterdam as you have to worry about 5 different kinds of vehicles when crossing the road - trams, busses, cars, etc.. but everyone is orderly, not like here :)

Anything is possible in the Crypto market. As someone who has been trading for several years, the main thing I've learned is never do something out of fear. This can be applied in all areas of you life and not just the Crypto scene. Great post by the way.

Yes its a sigh of relief indeed after a spell of horrible days. Nyway I would like to thank you since I copied your idea of creating content in Dtube. I don't have anything else to talk about so I started creating guitar lessons everyday for steemit. I don't know it will draw attention of the curators or not but I will continue as a service to the community and love for music. Today will be my 7th day of consecutive upload. I think it's clear that steem will recover and there are other things that are coming soon that are going to continue pushing it upwards. And so will Bitcoin. But in the long run, I'm firmly on the STEEM train as I see a lot more utility and a superior technology. Bitcoin is already bogged down and the network can't handle the load - it's slow and expensive. A proper currency should be much faster to transact in. Just like STEEM :)

The new bottom is at 3 $. HF20 is not here yet. SMT's is not here yet. Communities is not here yet. FIAT/STEEM exchange is not here yet. Not even 1 million users yet. For many, Steemit can give them a full time salary by working a few hours pr. week if they just power up, hold, and engage with the community. One more thing! - Since you are working a lot for a better platform (witness, always voting comments etc) have you thought about waiting to vote on your own post for some time, so you can reward your followers with better curation rewards? I will start doing that today, even though my SP is nowhere near yours :)

If the liquid STEEM from the power down is no put on the market, then it´s much more like a coin burn in a way, right? Thanks for the consistent Steem updates. Its crazy to see how far this network has made it in just a year since I've been hear. I've recently become re inspired about Steem now that I see how well D.tube and the other front ends are doing. Of the post-election days that we had to experience, as you correctly noted, the Steem has stood it well and under all influential markets it has been tested, it is very reassuring to me! It's 5 bucks, but I believe it will be even higher.

I'm both thrilled and disappointed that Steem is at $4. I wish I bought more when it was less than a dollar, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Things are moving really well around here. I was checking out Utopian the other day and it is such a genius idea. So many good platforms can be built on the steem blockchain. Other currencies can be hard forked and made into a new currency with a different name. I don't think the same can be done with Steem as you would need to recreate all the platforms that run on it, right?

Good post! Good to know that STEEM and SBD are strong enough that we can build on them as a foundation. Maybe in a few months, more people will be able to switch it with their daily job, and instead of doing something that they don't like, it will be a more enjoyable way to earn regular income.

With the passage of time steem will more stable. And $3 for bottom is a very good sign. Now everyone is secure. In my opinion steem will remain under $10 till the BTC remains under 15k. But one thing is not clear at all.
What is your take on SBD?Lots of people say it one Dollar value , Some say undervalued. I want to know your view point on it after the recent Market ups and downs.
