Steemfat HIIT training as recommended by @gflfitness + World cup has started.

I'm trying some tips I got from @gflfitness here on Steemit on one of my posts about getting in shape.

He recommended I drink water before consuming a meal to eat less. (But I still think I can eat plenty...I probably should drink a gallon).

Another thing he recommended is that I incorporate some HIIT training into my workouts.

I did this for the second time this week.

And I like it a lot.

This is what he wrote:

To start I would like you to build up your cardiovascular resistance.

Try this:

On a stationary bike machine warm up for 5 minutes at regular pace. (Hr 110-120Bp)
Then cycle as fast as you can for 10 to 15 seconds. (Hr 120-160 Bp)
Return to regular pace for 2 minutes.
Then return to cycling as fast as you can for 10 to 15 seconds.
Repeat this cycle for 10 minutes.
Including warm-up, this workout routine would be a total of 15 minutes.

You might think it's easy.

And it is the first time you go 15 seconds max (400-420watt) but then the next two minutes (220-240 watt) go past much faster then you would like and it starts again.

It's pretty intense.

At the end you feel it and then normal training still has to begin.

I have noticed that throughout my normal training my heart-rate stays much higher.

I hope that's normal.

I have to try it for 6 weeks.

I'm curious what kinda results I will get.

When entering the gym today Bianca was wearing her Brazil t-shirt.

She was instantly signed to the competition they have running in the gym by the gym owner.

She is now the proud single member of team Brazil :)

Of course, the world cup has started today and I watched the first match on TV and it was fun.

I like tournaments and seeing countries play instead of dollars.

It might not be the top level yet but everyone that watches Dutch football nowadays is used to lowering their standards anyway.

I'm in general happy when they can kick the ball in the right direction.

As you can probably tell I'm slightly sad the Netherlands is not in the tournament. It's the second tournament in a row we have missed.

It's a shame really. We used to be pretty decent at football.

There is just something buzzing in the country when the Dutch do play.

I miss it.

Hopefully next time.

Luckily this year I can sheer for Brazil, although it's not 100% the same.

I'll do my best to get into it because I do like the world cup.
