A life gratitude: Smile

in life •  7 years ago

Precisely some 10years ago, a young man full of energy, strength and playful was at the verge of completing his secondary school education. The young lady love sport a lot which includes running, soccer and high jumping. He loves playing around everyone and as well love by his peers, friends and also teacher. Regardless of how playful the boy was, he was still best at what he love. He has fallen in love with anything that involves calculation to the extent that he once represent his school at one of the mathematics competition within the state.

In other for him to have some sort of freedom he sometimes lie to his parent about school activities. I could remember days he would lie about going to school for lesson which would never hold all to be able to visit a PlayStation shop. The young man of today has spent fortune on soccer game.

The reason for the young man gratitude can be far fetch. When he was about to write is senior secondary school exam (WAEC), he lied at home that he needs to attend a tutorial in school. A practical class and since the parent will never disturb him from anything related to studies, he was allowed to go.

He went to a quiet public school at Ibadan. On that fateful day while he was talking to his friend at the topmost of the building, he suddenly look down from the window and said to his friend, do you know I can jump down from here?. The friend dare him and he suddenly become confidence to do it.

The POP leg
The young man jumped and wow, he landed unbroken but scattered because he had to carry a plaster of Paris (POP) for two month. He couldn't run again, he couldn't play football again and he his now scared to jump. He stay off running and football for almost 3years.

He his back to football but still feel the pain after each matches

This gratitude is to God for sparing the young man life though he took a deadly step but the Lord protections never fail on his life.
