A Question about Flat earth

I have been reading a lot of articles in favor and against the Flat Earth Theory, personally I think that the Earth is a globe that moves around the sun and rotates on its axis, but since I can't prove this I am OK with people having other theories.

But I do have a question for people who believe in a Flat Earth, the above Flat Earth model is, I find, about a standard idea that is held about how the Earth is really shaped. It is kind of cool in that it answers a lot of the questions Flat Earth believers are made and gives them the opportunity to answer in a more or less believable manner.

Now if you look at the map you can see one problem with this, it is the cardinal points and I mean North, South, East and West. If North is in the middle of the Earth then I have to assume that South would have to be the complete circumference of the Earth, so that anywhere I look would inevitably lead me South. Is this possible or do Flat Earth guys have another theory to fix this? By the way this also means that East and West are also not where we thought they where.

The problem I see is that mariners have been using the cardinal points for guidance for thousands of years with impeccable results, so I think something is wrong with this Flat Earth model. Or could it be that I haven't been made aware of the answer to this obvious problem?

Hello, my name is @dwells and I am a biblical flat earther.

Yes north is the center and south is the outer edge. We know it as Antarctica. East and west navigation is the same on a globe as it is on the Flat Earth. East and west are just orientations from North. If North is 90° to your left then you are facing East, if North is 90° to your right then you are facing west. When you navigate going east or west you are navigating from your North point. Therefore on a globe or on a flat plane if you are navigating east or west from North you will go in a circle or around the globe either one.

We figured you'd show up, but after reading your comment, I've got another question to add.....

Where in the flat earth did you come up with an idea like that?

Real world research combined with thinking for myself and employing critical thinking skills.

But what about a compass? It would have absolutely no value, because anywhere it pointed to would be South. And compasses are good for finding the way, I have used them on a boat and I just follow its orientation and I get where I want to go.

A compass points toward north. You are navigating relative to the North Pole which is at the top of a globe and at the center of a circle. Men were sailing the sea and navigating just fine long before the idea the Earth is a globe was thought up.

But it would point South that is what I am saying regardless of where you look everything inevitably leads south in this model.

No sir, you are not thinking this thru clearly. South is 180 degrees from North. West is 90° left of center from north and east is 90° right of center from North. When you use a compass you are always navigating from North. North does not change on a globe versus a flat Earth map.

To me it looks like South is all around the circle, so it would be pointed at by a compass at every point the whole 360 degrees, but I don't want to turn this into an argument so let's leave it at that.

South is the entire outer edge. North is the center, west is a circle going clockwise, east is a circle going counter clockwise. If you watch the video I posted it's demonstrated in there. Should make it easy to understand.
