Stop spending time on things that don't matter and start focusing on the things that really matter.

As I said in my last post, there is a difference between quality and quantity. In order to become a success, you need to stop wasting time and start focusing on the things that will have a significant impact.


The easiest way to identify these items is by taking a look at your list of To Do's. You may be surprised by what is actually important and what is just a distraction.

STEP 1: Identify the Top 5 Most Important Tasks

The first step in getting anything done is determining what is most important. Write down all the tasks that you have on your list of To Do's.

Take the top 5 and move them to the bottom of the list.

STEP 2: Sort Your List By Importance

Once you've gotten rid of the things that are just a distraction and moved the top 5 items to the bottom of your list, you should have a clearer picture of what you need to focus on.

Sort your list from least important to most important.

STEP 3: Prioritize Your Tasks

Now that you know what your most important tasks are, you can focus on them. Prioritize your tasks based on the value they bring to you and your business.

Make sure to use a system that works for you. For me, the Pomodoro technique is perfect. It is simple, effective and allows you to achieve greatness.
