I know how much you miss Boya. I used to wake up after Sasha died believing I heard her breathing at the end of my bed. As she got older she had heavy breathing. I would wake up and be so disappointed. Hugs and love.

thank you so much!! I am constantly reminded of her. It is strange how much life changes with one little participant gone. Like, I would always close the door really quick because she was always ready to run and explore. Now, I can leave it open - BB doesn't go anywhere.

I just realised that this is a sad post. I used to have my family dogs with me and I know how that feels when one is no longer there.

There's really nothing that prepares us for the loss of one of our furry family members... and we are just left with this strange emptiness inside. Grief doesn't come with a schedule, but — in time — we get to understand that our beloved fur creatures will ALWAYS be with us, in our hearts and souls. Maybe that sounds like cold comfort... and I do not mean for it to... but all my cats and dogs are still here, in some strange way, as Boya is — and will be — for you.
