I LOVE CUPS!

One of my favorite Steemians, @natureofbeing, inspired me for this post!

I read her post about the perfect cup [you can find it here: https://steemit.com/art/@natureofbeing/choosing-the-perfect-cup ] and I got super excited since I realized that I love cups !!!! I have a collection actually, but I don't make them myself like @natureofbeing does ;) I also collect magnets, stamps, coins, bills, lighters and many other but those are material for another post [or posts haha] :P I am also using the tag @natureofbeing suggested '#perfectcup' and you should do it too if planning on making a relevant post!

I have special cups at all my places in Athens, Corfu and Paris but now I'm going to focus on my favorite cups [ or meanings of cups ] from the last few years. Cups are important and special to me and finding the perfect one is really tough! I have some cups for coffee, some for tea, some for guests, expensive I never use, some I don't care - whenever I move I end up having a million of them! So in this post I am going to share some of my favorite ones!

It's not always about the cup itself, but also about what it represents, as I'm going to explain below!

Firstly, I will put the weirdest of this whole collection

The SF LX Cup [SteemFest Lisbon]

This cup is not mine but I really really loved it while having my coffee in the morning at my airbnb apartment in Lisbon during SteemFest! So cute, so ME! The background is Lisbon's map and you can see the bracelet on my rist!

The Morning Coffee Cup

My favorite cup since I moved to Denmark is a ....Swedish cup haha! As most of my Swedish friends on and off Steemit already know, I love Sweden and its flag and everything Swedish, inscluding the language -Sometimes I wish Copenhagen was in Sweden haha!!! So this is the one I drink my coffee every day! It is very precious to me, bought it Malmö in the summer of 2014 when I visited, immediately after moving to Denmark!!!

The Second favorite Morning Coffee Cup

Sometimes I use this one instead, which I bought quite recently - I love Minions so I couldn't resist even though I know that I already own way too many cups... Here's some cup art haha!

The Christmas Cup

Since we're still in Christmas mood, here's a Christmas cup at my best friend's place -together with homemade apple pie and juice [she treats me super well every time I'm at hers haha!]

The special cups!

Here are two very special to me cups from a day I had my best friend at home [and the desserts between them are carot cake and a special Christmas cake sent from Romania to @creutzy :D ]

The left one is Bodum, a very design brand - the black part is rubber, to hold it when it's hot!
The right one is a gift from my friend from Glasgow when he visited Copenhagen and has all the monumens and places to visit in Scotland!
Both those I usually use them for tea, or guest coffee ;)))

And here's what I meant about not only functionality of cups but also true meaning!

The Friendship Cups

Those are 3 cups: A friend's and her boyfriend's and mine, after we bumped into each other on the street (Copenhagen is a tiny town...) and ended up at their place having coffee! Those are the most important moments we share and should cherrish - 'cause sometimes, it's not about the cup, it's about human interaction, friendship and loooove!!! :D

But what about the Perfect Cup?

Is there a perfect cup? As @natureofbeing pointed out there are many factors about this! And since cups are not really lovers hahaha then we can have more than one! I do have favorite ones, but the PERFECT ONE? Hmmmm not sure ;) Unless we're talking about the Holy Grail AHAHAHAHA!!!! :D
