How to be ready to get rid of the burdens of the past today

in life •  3 years ago

We carry loads from the past in our minds, emotions, and brains, hardships that occurred hours or days ago and are still with us. It's possible that we blame our pet, that we blame other people, that we battle with regret, that we throw ourselves into the bottomless pits because of all the things we can't control...

In this essay, I'd like to take a look back in time with you at some of the historical hunchbacks. It is important that we remember to leave all of the things behind that we have completed or that have been done, lived, or happened to us. Let's take a break from all of the regrets and heavy responsibilities we've piled on ourselves, even if we can't do it right now, and relax a little.

Have you ever pondered why the burden of the past seems to be so heavy on our shoulders? This is an important lesson to take away from our storey: what has happened cannot be changed or reversed. In reality, we are continuing to make the same mistake that we have already realised and regretted. We cannot, however, complete the recording of an event that occurs once in a lifetime in a single sitting!

Due to a painful betrayal, loss, defeat, or error we experienced at the time, we have sentenced ourselves to relive the identical events in our minds at this same now, over and over again. Is it possible that we'll give up on trying again because we've been rejected once? What makes us think we'll be afraid to rise again just because we've been knocked down before? Will we never be able to win again because we've already lost once? Will we finally find the happiness we seek, including love, a fulfilling work, and financial success, simply because we've been unsuccessful before?

As a result, we find ourselves thinking the same thoughts over and over again, confirming our feelings of guilt and growing increasingly irritated with ourselves. At this time, we are repeatedly bringing an occurrence into the present, in which we are unable to intervene in the present moment that we are currently living in.

So, to return to our storey, how many of us are the monks who carried the girl across the bridge and left her there as she continued on her trip to her destination? In addition, how many of us continue to feel and communicate the consequences and regrets of a flow, a process that cannot be stopped? Years ago, I was forced to end my marriage as a result of really difficult circumstances. After that, I tried to figure out why I had been in this situation for so long, and I avoided any private connections for fear of making the same mistakes over and over again.

My greatest attempts failed me in understanding why these events had transpired, and I was unable to determine whether the escape process I was engaged in at the time was correct from the vantage position I had now held. In reality, all I needed to do was let go of the events that had taken place at the moment. Live your life in the same manner as everyone else, then leave it behind and go forward. Unfortunately, it only took me two hours to get here, although it took the monks in our storey far longer than that!

It is my hope that you will examine whether the humpback whales of the past are riding on your back while you read this article with me today. When you can't change, alter your mind, why do you keep blaming yourself or attempting to comprehend concepts that you can't change or interfere with? Bring the situation back to the present by making a few modifications. Massive blank slates await us, as well as picturesque pathways for leisurely strolling and great stories to share.

Are you prepared to relinquish control of the rest of your obligations?
