I've Come To A Point Where It's Time To Make A Tough Decision

in life •  7 years ago

Hello friends, fans, followers and passersby.

My name is @NoNamesLeftToUse The Writer/Artist Himself and
I think it's wise to introduce myself at the beginning of every post.

NoNamesLeftToUse - Good Stuff.jpeg

Some Decisions

Are easy to make.

Should I kill that mosquito buzzing around my head?
Simple decision: Yes

Reasoning: I once woke up with what I thought was a massive zit on my forehead. I was 33 years old and thought, I'm getting too old for this shit. It turns out, that blemish to my massive ego was not a zit. Twas a mosquito bite and an itchy one at that.

As you as my witness: There will be no such thing as waking up with a mosquito bite on my forehead ever again!

Problem solved.

Other Decisions

Are hard to make.

Should I offer my opinion on things under blog posts if I disagree or become triggered?
Difficult decision: No

Reasoning: I sound like such an asshole sometimes and I hate myself for it. I am far too direct, blunt, open with my own versions of honesty; and this pisses people off. That is not how one makes friends.

As you as my witness: If I do not have something dumb to say, I shall say nothing at all!

Problem solved.

Thoughts As I Conclude

With a hint of seriousness and a dash of sincerity.

So, as you can clearly see, I don't like to take things seriously. I like to joke around. I prefer to keep my mind in a state where thoughts don't drag me down, and I like to stay there.

I don't need to be happy, but I prefer to at least be in a good place rather than feeling pissed off about things. I especially don't like being in a place where I'm pissed off about something that I can't change no matter how hard I try. My words won't do shit so I'm just going to shut the fuck up and enjoy the ride.

Though I'm not out there in the blogosphere often, making a scene; it does come up. I fly off the handle, as they say. I snap. Things bug me, that's life. Why am I even looking at things that piss me off though! Counterproductive. Waste of time. Waste of energy. Good energy that I need to maintain in order to be able to perform here and at my best, for your enjoyment, as well as mine.

We're all simple products of our environment.

We feed off of one another's energy.

Positive energy, negative energy, balanced or grounded energy; it doesn't matter what kind of energy. If it's there, we seem to find a way to connect to it. One's positive is another's negative, shit starts going zap! If I see a toaster in the bathtub, I don't touch it; so what the hell am I doing when I decide to voice my concerns about shit that doesn't concern me. Fuck it.

I'm not interested in sticking my hand in that mess anymore!

If I see a pile of shit, I don't step in it! I go around!

Now

I don't preach this "positivity" bullshit.

I don't like to turn my back on something that might stab me just because it doesn't tickle my fancy! I like to stare that shit straight in the face and wait for it to make the first move so I'm ready to react.

I can see where I went wrong, because I'm looking at it and I don't like it. It gets ugly and I don't want to be looking like shit or feeling like shit. This ain't no used shit dealership!
Whatever that means!

So!

From now on:

If I'm visiting your blog and I can't think of something dumb to say, or humorous, or at least nice; I won't be saying a goddamn thing.

Look at my blog posts! Constantly one big free-for-all of whatever. Jokes, fun; it's like playing in the ball pit at the fast food restaurant with no manager saying, "You sir! You're too old to be playing in there! You're busting our balls! Get out now before I call the police!"

That's what I enjoy the most about what I'm doing here. So I might as well take that show on the road with me.

It seems like morale is down around here lately, there's a lot of negativity out there, and yes that shit gets to me but I'm done with it.

Life is too short to sit around feeling miserable. I've been here, doing this, for coming on two years; time is flying. This part of my life I'd prefer to get right and the only way do that is to do it, right?

Yes.jpeg

Have a nice day!

I consider it one of the most powerful practices, to be able to suspend judgement within yourself. It frees up a lot of space in your head, and then you develop this incredible ability to just listen ...without having to always be defending and explaining.

"You are the master of your unspoken words, but a slave to the words you have spoken." - Winston Churchill

I have the same problem with mosquitoes but I have to admit that I don't chase them to kill them haha, it's boring looking around for them especially when you are asleep and it's really late and you just want to continue sleeping. In your other question now, when I see something that I strongly disagree with I do comment, it's nothing personal with the writer because you are just offering your opinion, it is different of course, but that's dialogue all about. The truth is that I can be really passionate when expressing my opinion, yet I believe that if you have arguments and you don't offend the other person I don't see why someone shouldn't do it.

Being open and honest falls into the part where I said I'd be nice. I'm also quite passionate and sometimes that gets in the way. People take things personally though. Say something and the next thing you know you're being insulted, it becomes pointless, and I don't like being around the negative types because like I said, I think we feed off that energy and end up becoming the same monster sometimes.

I can understand exactly what you are talking about, most of the time not to say all the time people take it personally, I don't believe though that if you are honest that means that you are not nice. Also I myself like having an conversation with someone that I disagree rather than someone that I agree haha it's beautiful to exchange ideas, to hear something different. Of course when the other side gets rude there is no point to continue the conversation as they don't really want to hear what you are saying, so that's the point.

I too enjoy a good disagreement. It gives everyone a chance to learn. Online word fights are far too common these days though. Just look at Facebook and watch how they treat each other. Under Youtube videos, it's no wonder those content producers rarely respond to anyone. Society seems to be forgetting that being nice and respectful isn't a sign of weakness. Being direct, open, honest; that's not an insult. It doesn't make us bad people, but unfortunately, online, people will go to great lengths to make others look like fools. That's not for me and I don't like how if I'm not careful, I become what I don't agree with.

True story! The bottom line is that, as you mentioned, being nice is not weakness and please allow me to add that true dialogue can lead in development and improvement, not only self-improvement but improvement of the whole society. Now to make things more light :) I have to say that although I like a good disagreement as you, I liked agreeing with you this time hahaha!

Just when I thought I knew everything; knew exactly what needed to change, I find myself learning more. This post was a vent, a rant, I like to air my grievances so they cannot haunt me forever. Add in these comments as well as the others and holy shit! You know what? This world isn't such a bad place after all. Push away the bullshit and look what happens. I'm feeling better. LOL

I'm glad you are feeling better! There are so many reason to be disappointed with this world and on the other hand some many others to make you feel good! Today let's look in the bight side!!!!

If you have something smart to say though, say that, even if it's critical.

I don't plan on turning into a sycophant with the smiles and nods. Nothing like that. It's difficult though. On one side, in my space here, I'm running a goofy arts and entertainment blog; then I find myself stepping out of what I'm good at here and offering up my more serious business side in another space. So I can go out there, like I have in the past, say my piece, people pay attention, they hear me; then come here and think what the hell kind of joke is this?

I've had a witness come and threaten to flag all of my hard work here just because I didn't agree with their shit post of one picture and no words being boosted up to the top. I had a long time struggling member who wrote a post about struggling write another post later, calling me a bully, after I offered a few honest suggestions that I thought, based on my experience here, would have helped them. Then I had to spend time offering my side, with actual evidence of the situation, under that slanderous nonsense of theirs, wasting an entire day doing PR and not earning here in my space. Some things are just not worth it. Then I'm out there venting frustrations and it's written off as simple whining, like I'm some noob off the street and it's my first day here and nothing is going my way. That's annoying, too. People will be people though. But dammit there are few headaches I just don't need. We'll see how it goes.

I feel you. I'm finding the work / life / other work / other life balance particularly hard this year. 😩 but that's how we do I guess, work hard or die.

Getting on the wrong side of people is a tough one. I've had my fair share of it but all things considered I've been lucky to often get backing when it comes to crunch. I'd hate to have to bite my lip too much though, the times I've done it in the past here it was mainly strategic. I was never directly threatened either, not even using weasel words, so there's that too. Perhaps you've been unlucky in that regard, or am I especially lucky? I can't say.

Main thing is though, who's got time for a skirmish that wins you nothing?

Main thing is though, who's got time for a skirmish that wins you nothing?

That's it right there. Even these little online battles about nothing, just simple difference of opinion, people hold on to that. When I was young, if worse came to worse over a disagreement, that could lead all the way up to a fist fight; and in most cases if it went that far, people became friends after. Nowadays with all this online stuff it just becomes a silly game of one-upmanship, never ends, goes nowhere. That's the kind of stuff I can see coming, it's shit, I'll go around. Keep my shoes clean.

In the best case scenario that has happened here too, sparing partners in arguments with real stakes I've found to be perhaps not quite friends but people with a friendly respect after some time at this. But I can count those leaving some fingers spare on one hand. Mostly it's as you say.

I tend to agree, but I will probably continue to put my foot in my mouth sometimes, clean shoes or not.

I love Steemit because in my feed, I see what I want, not what paid for algorithms want me to see!

Dude. I signed in to Facebook earlier today. The top three trending posts were horrendous. Violence, arguments; disturbing shit in general. I scrolled down my feed, the first meme I saw was depressing and the second was some political propaganda bs. I got outta there so fast. If I would have clicked anything and started reading how people comment there and how they treat each other, I'd just leave feeling miserable or feel like I need to troll someone. Its just pointless.

Seriously, wtf happened to FB. Every time I log in now it's just an endurance test of how much bullshit I can stand before I leave.

Something about that place brings out the inside voice in everyone. Then when I say something, I get a sticker. A thumbs up or a heart, maybe a smiley face as if I'm in kindergarten again. I could probably complain about that place for a few hours, but I think I'll save it for the next time I login.

I thought you had left that place, but yeah keep strong :D I can't go there, I get algorithmisized or something, you can only talk about bullshit, that "emo" side as well, basically it's "communication tribal" which sounds like a good title for a game as well,

but yeah, with the surroundings and the echo chambers it puts people in and with the "tools" it gives them to keep acting like social animals and biting on people's tails... I'm not sure how you can approach that place and both bring a conversation and help someone realise something, either way that's close to impossible and the only way it could happen is with good examples and of course deciding to stay away from a shitty corporate "social media", at least My Space had good users :D facebook is a melting pot without any prevailing thought...

it's useful, but it overstayed it's welcome 10 years ago for me, I've never liked it, never cared for making a public figure and weaving bullshit, that's how it felt to me on the side, watching all the "positivity" crap rise up, there are only a few that actually do anything, others are just marketing.

So yeah there is a ongoing thought I'm having that we are getting more and more disconnected and that's coming from the fact we are connecting to so many third parties that like our attention and keep it that way, steemit is the same, at least for me, I realised it had grown on me somehow :D I was in quite the bind, it was kind of a second life at some point.

Answer of course is communication, but for the majority there is no way out, I doubt you can formulate concise thoughts and verbally express your world view, when you don't have one that is true, rather where someone plasters a image and tells you "that's the world, believe in it."

I'm happy I'm around talented people and we can have fun with words when we feel like it :) Steem and with respects Steemit was a marble for me, it was pure communication, correlation between people, over a network, but it has it's downsides as well.

Nowadays, trending is as bad as ever ... :D in fact it's pretty lame last I checked, lots of clickbait to "insert cause of stress"...

I've tried bridging the gap a few times, once I got called a capitalist for arguing against socialism, ... anarcho-socialism, I'm still not convinced and I'm not about to read the 50 books that fine man had stuck in his head arguing against my life experience...

but yeah, negativity is bad mkay :D I'd say it's a fun dance of destruction, criticism can be framed without making fun of people, or could it...

anyways the grown baby mentality of most people won't help anyone, offenses are popping up left and right because people now have the right to not be offended ...

I tried to not be too negative in expressing my negativity, what would you say, of course If I'm negative feel free to point out my mistakes :)

I disabled everything I could in FB. It tries to figure out your interests and then gives you more of the same. I pretty much said I wasn't interested in anything. Of course, I also don't give it my city, high school, workplace, nuthin'. Just because they give you a blank to fill, doesn't mean you have to. As a result, my FB isn't too bad.

Hell yes you should kill it, squish that fucker dead! lol!

I frequently play 'avoid the dog missiles' on steemit, hee.

Sorry I'm late commenting, I read and resteemed earlier

I learned something today, @dreemit! I'm not alone! That negative shit is a virus that's damn near taking over but it's easy to just say, fuck it. Why didn't I think of this before!

Yes! That's my mantra- fuck it! Negativity is definitely a virus, a super contagious one- all we can do is run the other way haha!

Running is one way. I'll just stand here looking at it, with the middle finger thing, held high.

Ah, but if you do that, you just encourage the negative nelly to spray more of it on you- that's why the run away method is my preferred one these days ;)

Negative doesn't have eyes.

lol!

I think I had this revelation a while back when I was still participating in FB arguments.

Oh the hours, if not days I wish I could get back that I wasted on dozens of retorts that changed no one's mind and only heightened my blood pressure.

If something needs to be said, I will still say it. If a troll is harassing someone, I troll them harder, but I don't really take any of it seriously. I'm a smart ass by nature, so I can't help it sometimes, but I don't argue seriously anymore, and try to keep things light-hearted.

I don't like to think about Steemit when I am not on Steemit!

This was really insightful! Great read! :)

I get fired up quite easily. Normally I keep my safety switch on because I know I will go further than most. I'd much rather be known as a smartass instead of a straight up asshole though. People can have their debates. Whatever. That stuff isn't fun. I'd rather be bombing jokes and wondering if these people realize I'm just messing around instead of going around making a mess.

Thank you, for the reminder, NN. Trying to practice something similar myself, jealously guarding my energy by biting my tongue, keeping my own council, not contributing to toxicity.

For selfish reasons, because it's sickening, and also because there's enough negativity out there, without our feeding it (also, it's futile, circumstances/people don't change when we bark at them). Sometimes silence, other times, levity - depending on what we can afford :)

Thanks, again, for keeping it light. As you know, there's wisdom in play and humor!

When that gate drops and the beast enters the arena, the crowd cheers; for all the wrong reasons. It's a rush, that energy is addicting. Coming down from it is not easy. There are better ways to rise up that don't include coming back down. Maybe the tongue tastes good...

Haha, grinning from ear to ear over this line: maybe the tongue tastes good.

I think it must. Better than having to eat and swallow our own bitter words...

I totally understand. It is a waste of precious resource to expend all that energy when it is so often misconstrued...

And yet as I read this I thought of Jack Nicholson at the end of one flew over the cuckoos nest.

Which I dont mean in a bad way. I am happy for you to be you :O)

I am slightly drunk incidentally which is why I am having trouble enunciating exactly what I mean but I giope that you get it.

Aw fuck it..

I love you man, dont ever change! :OD

Dude, you've seen some of my 'episodes'. Many have. Thousands during one occasion. Do you realize this shit is here forever? LOL! I need to calm the fuck down and stop walking across the room just to remind some random stranger how ridiculous they are. It's not my business! ...

I'm having a couple of those wowie pops, too.

Lol, wowie pops!

HEhe, yeah. I have seen them. I think though for me some of my favourite reads were when I ventured into trending, solely to see what inane shit people were paying to put up an patting themselves on the back for being successful I t was always a joy to scroll down past the shit to see the top commetn was usually a blistering dessection of their shit by you. I would always think, ah, he says it so much better than anyone else.

But you are right, that shit can bring you down. So fuck it and fuck em! :O)

I'm going to put tape over the trending button, right now, as a deterrent. Out of sight, out of mind. I can't stand bullshit, that will never change; but I can at least be nice about it because yeah: I end up getting muted by Steemit's finest. I'm a nice guy, I mean well, and I bring hell, so that's swell, but there's no point, in doin' the dwell. See what I did there? Fucking talent.

I saw what you did! Aw, is like honey in my tea and I don't even drink tea!

You ain't been muted by anyone important so all is well!

What happened? Did you get up on the right side of the bed this morning :-)

Yes! No. Kind of. I haven't slept yet. But when I do, it'll be the right side. The left side makes me walk straight into a wall.

I recommend walking through walls as opposed to in to them.

I'll be sure to try that someday. I think I'll practice using a door first though. Then, once I'm ready, I'll take my training wheels off.

that is always good to think, but give me some tips, I can't seem to get through the hard surfaces these days ;)

lol

Permit me to say, this is the first post I would read on your blog that isn't funny but very serious. Decisions are tough. You categorized them into easy and hard decision. Yeah some decision are easy like what am I going to eat for dinner but then there tough decisions like "should I say yes to him?". I wish there is a way we can always walk our way around these things.

I have visited some blogs I didn't quite agree with what was posted and I didn't leave a comment because I felt it would be rude to disagree. Everyone after all is entitled to their opinion lil wonder they say wisdom is knowing when to speak and when to keep silent.

Nowadays i try so much to avoid unnecessary drama in my life. I keep myself off shit that do not concern me and I try to make myself happy after all only I can make myself happy. I am someone that worries a lot and I go off the handle a lot too but these days I'm trying to keep it in check. They say anger isn't good for a lady...lol but we should still be able to express our emotions one way or the other. Thanks @nonameslefttouse

I think anger is just as natural as happiness, sadness; everything else. There's no place for rage though and that's what happens when we don't learn how to be angry, naturally.

Most of the time I stay away from things I don't agree with. Sometimes I offer up some opposition. Because we're all using text to communicate, ideas are often misconstrued. Then frustration sets in and animosity. It's a pointless death spiral. Better to just let it slide.

Yeah I discovered that verbal communication passes the message across it accurately thank using text to communicate. I have been accused of being angry in my text whereas I was just asking an innocent questions. Like you said I will learn to let a lot of things slide.

Zizy. :-)

It's blog-o-sphere for pete's sake. None of it means crap when you really think about it. It doesn't change any significant amount of people's opinions, nothing ever written on a blog that I can see has saved the world from any impeding doom yet you'll see people get so wrapped up in it. Some people will even gain a total disregard or hate for opposing views, especially on this site with so many ass kissers and those running to the defense of those they are kissing ass with. My motto is agree to disagree or disagree to agree and come back another day and try again. I don't consider it my problem that I don't have a problem approaching another subject on a different day, it's their loss if their so blinded by whatever one is blinded by that they can't come together about something in the future. Some of the best blogger o sphere friendships I've developed over the last few years have been with people I've had some healthy opposing debates with, I've develop a couple here even and I have more respect for people like that then I do for complete ass kissing morons.

Well. There is a difference between being nice and being an ass kisser. Being nice is nice. I don't have a problem with being nice. Being an ass kisser is betrayal in disguise, though many of us see right through it.

I'll just focus on having fun. That's the plan.

That mosquito probably had a family, a wife and kids to return to! what if he is part of the mosquito mafia? his friends will come to avenge his life and bite you over again and again.... I predict a world of pain is ahead for you!

Morale always gets down around here when Steem value goes down and then when it goes up everyone is happy and love each other, its fun to see actually....

This post already has more $ value than your trending post! and this one isn't on trending! trending sux.

It's such a relief when you finally realise you don't need to say anything, especially when people write stupid shit that triggers your lack of better judgement.

Should I offer my opinion on things under blog posts if I disagree or become triggered?
Difficult decision: No

Its pretty obvious, if you don't repond to anything, it means you disagree with that. So without wasting your and his time, you just ignore. Its a born quality in some beings.

I never see anyone on here with as many replies as upvotes. Loved your whole post and your attitude. I had to laugh about your mosquito bite. 🐓🐓

Things just go this way some days here for me. I won't ever be able to explain it. It just happens, and like I said in the post, this is my favorite part.

he's a already established author, from years ago, so he's pretty well known, even renown :)

people were quite active back in the day, all 10% of the user base :D all great people ;)

I have the impression there was a story that spawned this, maybe a couple, but it doesn't matter because it's just dealing with dumb people stuff. We all occasionally do dumb people stuff and we should all remember that before permanently putting whatever it was out of our minds.

The people who are passionate and speak up, like you, are usually saying what 10 others are thinking. Don't change. Keep caring but not so much that it hurts you.

Anyway, today the Good Stuff was okay but the Yes was fabulous. I love the colours in it.

I was sitting here, it was late, I was pissed off with me and I wanted to figure out why so I just started slamming keys and found my answer.

Both of these images are 'old'. I have a 'no' as well. I think I have a 'yay' kicking around. I probably could have placed my 'applause' at the end under Yes but that might have been pushing it.

If I started stalking you with a Yay! sign, you would feel better.

I agree i don't like to take life too seriously either... it's better to laugh things off...which is why i enjoy visiting your post's as they are never too serious and you posts always seem to make me laugh :D I hope you have an awesome day :)

I'm sorry. I hope everything will be alright soon.

LOL. Everything is fine. You can relax.

Definitely, the thing to do sir. Life's too short to go around getting angry for someone else's shit on here or anywhere else. You just go on doing you sir!

I think you should feel free to do what you want. Obviously this platform pushes people to be all positive and encouraging to each other, because we are all upvoting each other at the end of the day. Sometimes I upvote absolute crap just because I am faithful to the person who I follow everyday and I would vote them no matter what.
In those cases, I don't have much to say, but HEY! Nevermind!
It is upsetting when they don't vote me no matter what, while I do it, but I accept it and I feel free to change my policy of "I'm voting you no matter what".
We are in a free world.
I think people have expectations that if you upvote them, you have to comment. I posted a message against men and I think quite few people did not like it. Who gives a shit!
You shouldn't feel under pressure by other people's expectations.
It will make a natural selection about who follow you.

We can do whatever we want on our own blogs. I just don't feel like wasting my time getting in arguments with people under their blogs. This doesn't mean I'm going to go around kissing everyone's ass. There's plenty of middle ground to use.

A wise move I am never quite as smart lol. One main tag I use is just filled with just zero effort garbage and plagiarism. Sometimes I just can’t help myself.

Found on person other day just posting links of YouTube gaming trailers and another one that looked like they were just downloading screenshots off app store and saying something like “game was lots of fun.”

I might have told them to put more effort into their work. Maybe if it was late at night and I was tired it might been more than that. People don’t like being told these things- haha.

I once came across a blog post that was hilarious, so I recommended that member should use the funny tag. It turns out, they were being serious and it wasn't just self deprecating humor. Oops. They wrote a post later and called me a bully. LOL! Should have just kept on walking.

Hey, least you gave them more content to write about. Who knows they might not had anything else to ever write about again if it was not for you.

That is always a hard one. Some people I tend to be rather funny/laugh with and sometimes its end up not being welcomed. I don't always pay attention to the tags as much as I should when it comes to that mater. It's also hard when interacting with a new person if you are reading to much between the lines and get yourself in trouble hehe.

people who can't think don't like being told they should, it's easier to be what you are currently and keep that "secure" then to adapt and change your behavior, not to mention your mentality, where the problem is in the first place. Most of them don't see a problem because that is ok in other aggregate media, steemit, didn't help much with establishing some ground rules, but whatever, not my spawned millions to care about.

I feel you here brother. I've tried the "you're an idiot, I must tell you so!" or "how can you believe this shit?" comment thing. Then I spent a better part of the day being amped up to see what they come back with. It's not productive. On this platform, with so many people not even reading the comments OR so many people just ignoring you, it's a waste of energy...and it's not great energy anyway. So I concluded, if I'm going to be a douche, be a goofy douche. Don't be an angry douche. Entertain yourself and maybe you'll entertain someone else. I'm not sure if this actually has anything to do with what you posted. I've been up late the last 5 nights playing Fortnite and I think I'm hallucinating that people in tall decrepit buildings are shooting at me. Run!!

I'm good at being the goofy dumbass. Majority of my time spent is doing exactly that.

.. :D man those games are getting the better of us :D

I'm still on the thinking that nobody here reads, I've tested usually it's 5% of people, so out of 100 that's 5 out of 0 that's zero... and it's quite sad for most people who try to shine here, when there is nothing to reflect the light back at you, well have fun, check my stream for starcrafts :P and I accept challenges, not a fan of shooters, unless it's quake and it's free :D

btw are you doing live streaming, you should know about dlive.io if you are on here, maybe you haven't read enough too :P jk jk

have fun building a safe space around you in seconds and deflecting rockets :D

I completely suck at Fortnite but love it anyway. I haven't investigated live streaming too much but when I do think about it I then think about how terrible I am and that no one would want to watch my train wreck.

Last night I just started playing Horizon Zero Dawn on the PS4. I'm a huge fan of RPG style games and this one is beautifully done. I might see if I can stream some of that and do a game review. Never did that before.

Comment-wise: I think it would help if there was a method to quickly see if you have any comments or replies. You know on Facebook or Discord how there's the circle with a number in it of how many comments are waiting for you. People are programmed to be curious and click that to read what's being said.

https://busy.org if you log in there (steemconnect, active key...) there are notifications as well as drafts of your posts, lots of options :)

notifications include replies, mentions, follows and wallet transfers

about streaming and all that, it's been fun I've been doing it for years... playing games and having fun ... gets boring after a while :D sadly I'm seeing graphics rise and the art and philosophy games used to have get smeared, I've had fun learning bits about the industry, it seems everything used to start from garages, be it microsoft or bethesda

I'm off to make a stream, feel free to watch them over @dlive

This was balmingly brainish to read.
That's a concept now :3

There's a fine line between respectfully putting forward a contrary opinion, and being a prick. It's oh so easy to step over that line and look back afterwards and think "when will i learn to keep my big mouth shut?" and I'm not talking about you...

I've been a prick. It happens. I'm far from perfect. That shit eats away at me. Sticking my nose in where it don't belong. Even if I didn't go in to be a prick, I come out feeling like one. It's confusing as fuck. Time to just chill out, ya know?

Usualy I have few dump things to say, now I’m speechless. Maybe because I just got up with still one eye open. All I can say is “stay away from mosquitoes”. Oh one more thing, I don’t know why, but always when I come to visit your blog I feel a good energy. I don’t ask why, but that’s just the way it is.
BTW: your speech was emotional.

Same here, I happen to be this blunt guy but I don't voice my opinion all the time. I also wait for you to come for it and boom, I react. If you visit my blog and you say your mind. That will be good for me to make adjustments. My morale has been low this few week, i just need a buzz. Have a nice day also

I keep telling myself I should shut up, and I'm quieter, but sometimes I get the better of myself.

It's not easy. I'm improving, yet, I'm fucking up. Enough is enough though. If I'm outside, thinking about something that pissed me off here, it's time to change! LOL!

Guilty as charged. Sometimes.

I'll line up some positive pies soon 😁🚀📈👌🏽

Yeah, see! I'd rather be remembered as the idiot who came along to start joking about pie than the jerk who came along to remind everyone about how pie is for assholes and cake is the way to be.

I'm on course for internet glory!

But yes, I choose cake over pie. A cake diagram... could work if I smoked enough.

Do a tray of vegetables, too. Some people like those things.

Now you are talking, I have brocolli coming out of my ears! Must get that seen to before the Vegetables

You’re quite an interesting person I must say reading through this post. We truly are a product of our environment, I love to be happy too and I love to make people laugh not a clown as that but I’m basically a happy person. I think we can relate and become good friends quite easily. This is a privilege I look forward to, be a friend with you @nonameslefttouse. Maybe someday we’d figure out a name for you . 😂 lmao. I like the username though

Life is too short to sit around feeling miserable. I've been here, doing this, for coming on two years; time is flying. This part of my life I'd prefer to get right and the only way do that is to do it, right?

This lines tickled my fancy especially the first line, life is indeed too short for one to sit around miserable, so while life lasts one should do those things that makes him happy and comfortable. Life is too short for regrets, one has to dust himself or herself up and keep pushing until one gets it right. Thanks for those lines it really did remind me of something. Beautiful artworks @nonameslefttouse and nice colour combination.

Fcuk.

I think i just read my older self. The one from the future.

I sound civil, reasonable and direct

Result = people get pissed off

I hang on to putting on my clown-suit anytime, anyday and the world goes normal again.

Fcuk this life.

So, as you can clearly see, I don't like to take things seriously. I like to joke around. I prefer to keep my mind in a state where thoughts don't drag me down, and I like to stay there.

A man after my own heart!

I couldn't of said it any better myself. In fact almost all of your entire post sounded just like my subconscious speaking.

Except the bit about the mosquito. Killing it seem a bit harsh man. Just because one of his ancestors bit you dosen't mean this one has the same temperment. He might be friendly. Maybe he learnt from his ancestors mistakes. Perhaps if you asked nicely he might fuck off and leave you alone. Maaaaybe, he is in fact a she!

Fuck it! Never mined... Just squash the damn thing :)

Only the females bite. If a bug is in my space, it's self defense.

Only the females bite

Damn... I learn something new every day!

My misses is the same... I don't mind, it just depends where and how hard!

Decisions must be decisive and taken at certain times

I believe that making tough decision has been part of human life, there are times we have to make such tough decision in life.

on the post:

I agree, I was in a similar place, but then I got triggered, I was looking up to some people, that went into conflict and I dragged myself into it then though about giving up and stepped back, that's what lost me 2k steem :D I'm of course joking because I don't know how much I could have earned, but it did break my blogging streak, which kind of made me fall off the band wagon here...

anyways that bandwagon seems to still be here,

I'm seeing lots of amazing comments,

haha seems like everyone has been here already, it's gonna be a fun read :)

..a good disagreement. It gives everyone a chance to learn.
..
Society seems to be forgetting that being nice and respectful isn't a sign of weakness. Being direct, open, honest; that's not an insult.
..
I don't like how if I'm not careful, I become what I don't agree with.
..

dam that mosquito got me too, I left a comment/small post :D
I rarely can stop myself from getting triggered, because it's so fun and all :D

But with respects to life I suppose it's a crime of sorts, to burn your fuel..

I can only say I'd like people to do better :) so I will criticise and they are free to be offended and call me whatever they feel like, sadly it's mostly based on "feelings" and assumptions, which is not the point I'd like to get across.

Cheers mate
