When you do meditation, you will find that you are going to feel better about yourself. You will have the energy to do things that you want to, and you will also have the will to do it. You will have a great sense of clarity in your brain that will allow you to do the things that you want to a lot easier. This is going to help you gain control and get your thought process in order. There are usually many different classes in most areas that offer meditation for you. You can look up these different classes and get all the information that you can think about it.

Think about what it can do for you and then sign up for a class. This is a great way to get started. Once you learn all the techniques, you can then begin working on your meditation at home. You can do meditation alone or with someone else. It is best to practice this alone so that you can get the total experience from it.

If you want to recruit a partner or friend into this great thought process, you can. This is a great idea for anyone that is desperate to change their attitude and their way of thinking. You can gain self-esteem through meditation. This is a way for your body and mind to gain control over the way that you feel about yourself. You will find that during the process of meditation, you are going to get your self-confidence back and be able to tackle the world ahead of you.

Meditation will allow you to think clearly and to gain the respect that you want and need from not only others but yourself as well. You need to sit up completely straight when you are in meditation. You will have to have your neck and your head in a straight line when you are sitting on the floor. You should also face north or east for good meditation practices. If you have the proper body posture, you will have a better chance at a good meditation process.

Meditation is something that anyone can learn to do for him or herself. It is a great way to help your body feel better and to get your mind under control. You need a way of releasing these things and getting your state of mind back to a relaxed and better state of mind.

Meditation will let yourself connect with your inner being. You will find out a lot about yourself, what is causing you stress and how to deal with it, and what you are looking for in life. You have to be in control and be able to take on anything. With the right meditation, you can accomplish this and get your physical and mental state in great condition.

I meditate all the time in Los Angeles. Unplug meditation is where I go, but there are countless trails, mountains, etc. that you can take off the beaten path to relax and get one with nature. Have you ever been to California?

Ive never regretted sitting down to meditate.

Even though it is hard to sit still sometimes, it is most certainly worth it.

We all need to slow down and just breath every now and again.

Yes !! I feel the same way. Every time i reopen my eyes, I feel delighted. Thank you for your lovely comment!

Nice story. I'm getting more interested in stories that have a deeper meaning. This is a great one, simple but realistic. Thank you

Thank you So much ! <3

Excellent post. I've been practicing Transcendental Meditation for 45 years. It's been great and I wouldn't miss my meditation time for anything.

I suggest getting the instructions from a properly trained and certified teacher. If you are going to do it, might as well take the time to learn it right. Cheers

Awesome, i have been doing it for 22 years now @mgood

Excellent! And my 2 cents for you.

Wow that is a very long time !! I am curious, what have you learnt most from the practice and what tips can you give to young people who want to start ? :) Thank you

What I have gained from the practice of TM is an integration of the subtle field of consciousness with my outer consciousness which improves everything that I do. Much easier to handle stressful situations; think more clearly; creative ideas spontaneously come. Basically I feel better; have more energy; and get more done.
Tips: Best thing is to take a class from certified teachers who guide you into the meditation; answer questions; explain whats happening; and discuss experiences. It is very profound.
I know everyone likes to go onto the internet and find out everything, but Transcendental Meditation comes from an ancient tradition and it is best to have a teacher there to pass on the knowledge.

Nice post on meditation @suerisue,

I have found meditation to be the 'conscious' version of staring. Both are very powerful and connect you to the core of you.

Maybe you can write a post on how to start with meditation? Some sort of "Meditation for Dummies"?

I'm sure you will make a few people happy, if not many!

Thank you for your suggestions !! I will need to explore meditating for a period longer and i might consider making a little post on it. Thank you for your lovely idea

how to meditating with your first photo posted :)

Keep calm...

Recently started meditating and definitely feel a difference. A sense of calm. What are your thoughts on guided meditation with word?

I do meditating sometimes alone in my room after reading the holly quoran, i start getting in a state of trance. So peaceful and quite and remember some details of my life whom I thought they were gone forever but it's there in the the subconscious mind

amazing !!! Thank you for sharing this :)

oh wow, thank you for the post it is really encouraging to do the meditation sometimes to relief stress from our everyday routine.

Thanks for sharing @ suerisue

You are very welcome !!!

Awesome stuff! I have been meditating/performing yoga for about 6 months now and it has really opened my mind up to so many new opportunities that I was too reluctant to notice before. I think this is because we get so focused in on a few priorities and we start to have this sense of 'tunnel vision' almost. meditating allows for you to control your mind and gain a sense of purpose for what your thoughts and feelings really mean. By gaining such control, we are then able to more clearly see the road ahead and make decisions based on this clarity. Again, awesome stuff Suzana; giving you a follow because I really can connect to this sort of stuff

I'm just going to start to meditate. Your post pushed me to start today. I've read a lot about this method of relaxation, it's really a powerful thing. Thank you for such an important post.

Im so happy to hear this <3 cheers

I've never meditated consistently, but I did notice for a while that when I would meditate the night before, the next day seemed to go smoother; things just fell in place without me trying. For some reason it doesn't happen like that for me now.

Nice post, one of my friends is trying to do some meditation, and after I read your post maybe I will try too.

I have always heard how wondrous it can be for focus and stopping procrastination, but overall it has many benefits. My mind is active a lot and I can toss and turn in my sleep, so I really need to try get into it myself.

Amazing post! I really want to start meditating but I just can't find time to do it. My big problem is that I have no self-discipline.

I remember speaking to a Nepalese yogi who told me he meditates for 4 hours every day - not necessarily all at once, but still - I remember thinking, how on earth does he find the time? Now that I'm trying to meditate regularly I really find that I'm so much more focused during the day, that I feel way more in control, that honestly I probably could spend 4 hours meditating and achieve just as much as I achieve when I don't meditate. In reality I manage to meditate at most half an hour a day, and more often 10-15 minutes, but still, the difference in my focus and sense of control is impressive. It's quite addictive too! Great post!

nice article,

Looking forward to reading it !! Please let me know when you post ! :)

I think this is the first story I was able to read about meditating. After reading your post I will definetely try it.

I meditate every day at least for half an hour, often many hours, I love it. My activities are done in a meditative state. Great advise in this environment. You looks so beautiful in your picture....

super

that final gif is everything. wow.

Suzy you are such a great blogger do you have any tips aside picture tips? @suerisue

Meditation helps me to remember that life is much simpler than I sometimes make it. It also helps me to validate my decision making process. When an idea strikes me in meditaiton, it's almost always right on point.

Thanks for the great reminders here @suerisue! Would love to hear your thoughts about my recent post about making big life changes: You must DIE to FLY
