Awareness a necessity

When asked if there was something we strive for above all else, we might say happiness, fulfillment, or freedom. However, without awareness, these are meaningless. Remembering our unspoken blessings will allow us to develop awareness of the power we have inside of us. For each person, this becomes more and more intense as they become aware of the gifts they have in their lives.


We can build awareness to be more accepting of the blessings of others and our own .People who excel at managing stress in their lives tend to do things that focus their awareness: exercising, meditating, and socialising . But the mindfulness skills needed to manage your day-to-day stress do not have to be overwhelming. Simply knowing how to meditate and practice awareness can make a huge difference to how you feel throughout the day.

Be present to your eyes, ears, and heart. You will be able to perceive things differently. Try a few simple tasks in a meditative state, like cutting a napkin (or the hem of a piece of paper) in half lengthwise and then horizontally, which you can do with your hands, and notice how you automatically change the shape. Notice how you stop thinking of the piece of paper as a rectangle, and think of it as a triangle.

The important thing is to simply be present and not think about what we are thinking, a moment of momentary awareness. When you keep your awareness in the present, you will achieve greater progress and be able to complete your projects more quickly.


Once we are aware of our thoughts, we can stop and soothe ourselves. When we stop thinking about what we are thinking, our thoughts are no longer physical, emotional or mental, the sense of an observer is gone. We can also expand our awareness of our thoughts and feelings through conscious observation by focusing on the details in our body and the details of what is happening in our mind. With the right tools and practice, these mindfulness exercises can bring any of our thoughts, feelings, or situations into awareness and then bring them down again.

The mind is a great laboratory for learning and especially for establishing good habits. The human mind has a powerful drive to try out new things, and the more you try things out, the greater you will learn. One simple thing to do is to exercise your mind so that it is working harder. There are a number of ways in which we can develop our focus. If you notice that you are avoiding big steps, trying to drag yourself along by the hand, instead of moving freely with the world, you are in the realm of the feared. Let go of this mindset, relax and build the skills you need. You will have a more powerful and dependable mind at your disposal.
