That depends if they even know how to define their dream job, really. Most people hate their jobs for several reasons, but they never took the time to sit down and decide what do they want from a job. They just know what they do not want.

Assuming that they have listed down what they wanted in their dream job:

  • Industry
  • Role
  • Culture
  • Income
  • Perks & Benefits
  • Location
  • Etc

They still have to ensure that their internal values and the company's values are aligned. If you want to know your values, you can check out this link. It's . podcast with downloaded worksheets to help you determine your values.

Of course, there are still other elements in getting that dream job, and the truth is, only 1% of the world's population are fortunate enough to find their dream job. The other 99%? They have to align themselves to make their jobs, their dream jobs.
