How do we light up our families?
Lighting up families isn't a function of just festive season only. We are reminded of our family duties and responsibilities daily as we cohabit as families in our homes but the big feat is motivating and inspiring other family members.
I will walk you to some amazing ways I do assist family in festive seasons like this and normal days.
I come from a family of two children (Boys) then my Dad and Mum. I am the last and second child and son. Amazing right!? Occupying two positions alone.
Trips to my countryside is very common in my home as during my early childhood and teenage days, my Dad would embark the family on a road trip of about 700km to see distance relatives and extended family members.
I usually anticipate moments like that together with my Brother but as I grow older, I understood my Dad's motives of travelling with his family to the village.
My Dad is a peacemaker and peace preacher, he love to see the entire extended family living in harmony at all times and he achieved it and went on to create this family bond between we his children and our Grand Parents extended family so the bond became longer and stronger.

What Role do I play in the family?
I have made some sacrifices in terms of denying myself some good times to please family and I will do that over and over....
I have always seek to help out family members in paying off debts or some other bills
This week, I helped a relative pay off her School fees and I felt so responsible and eager to do more if I have the means to help out.
I am emulating my Dad's philanthropic acts in the family and He has mentored me so much in that line.
My Dad will always say
My Son never stopped blessing people with the little you have
If you accumulate plenty and eat alone while others starve.. Will you be happy if you were in their shoes and someone does that to you?
I pray I get more so I can get to bless people too...
Thank you @gavvet for this yet another opportunity to celebrate Christmas by reflecting on good Christian virtues and teachings and of course practically implementing great acts and conducts for humanity sake.
