2 cm of pure beauty

While travelling through France, a lot of bugs, flies, butterflies, spiders, mosquitos, etc... come along your way. Especially when you're going south bound. This particular one, is a Colibri butterfly. I first thought it was a Colibri, but it is in fact an insect and not a bird. It resembles the Colibri though, and at what speed does this little one's wings flap, incredible. I really do not know what shutterspeed you need, but my camera (Nikon D2000) was not capable of capturing a complete clear, still shot. But I got close though.

You have to admit, this bug, you wouldn't squash it? At least, I wouldn't!

The bug looks dangerous.

I too wouldn't like to squash a bug like that.

Mmm, you two upvote each other’s reply and your own 100% and no upvote for the original post... pretty selfish? Not?

It so beautiful!

@pele23 i like your post.
Your photo is very good

I have also seen one before. Now that spring has come everything is brought to life again.

This pix is somehow romantic. Don't mind me, I am a fan of anything emotional, and this pix is just one of them. Great work! Excellent photography!
