Yesterday, my friend and I were discussing politics and trying to determine how to better the country. We discussed talking to students on campus and making political music (as we are both musicians), but I kept coming back to the conclusion that it is easier to change one's self than to change others. Thus, I believe that to Make America Great Again, we need to better our selves. Upon reflection, we could all find ways to be better humans. Whether it is eating healthier, exercising, reading, picking up a new hobby, spending more time family, using less intoxicants, spending less time in front of the TV, volunteering in our community, etc. Whatever it is, we can't be better as a nation if we aren't willing to better our own lives. The power of this is that it crosses all political lines and, although we as humans don't like to admit our own limitations, we can all agree that we could improve our own lives.
tl;dr: Only you can prevent forest fires.
