There is another aspect to this situation.... We can be the guy with a bigger heart on the blockchain scene. Maybe extending a hand is not that bad an idea..... its worthwhile to remember that we are extending this hand not towards an enemy but rather a competitor.

Yes, I remember DLive. I used DLive frequently and I made tweets about them frequently too. I made a tweet each time I went live and I streamed more or less every single day. I even won a competition where I made a DLive exclusive, Fortnite video.
I loved DLive. Honestly speaking, I think it was one of the absolute best things about Steem. They offered gamers like myself a "home" so to speak, and also gave us the chance to be rewarded.
However, when they gave up on Steem, or when they decided to leave, they also shattered a bunch of peoples dreams. Including my own. I wouldn't promote DLive and their LINO junk as it is today even if you gave me all your Steem.

@nathanmars I'm sure that you had good intentions with this one but you probably don't know how those sneaky ninjas played out, used and abused our chain of blocks for their profit.

Of course, Brother dlive must be forgotten. It is a very nice platform, and it went from us to the point that we had to be very lucky to have a very good platform from which people could learn a lot of good support.

Asking for delegation, try their services on our blockchain, making money out of it and left by saying: "that was planned on the long run" and splitting our streamer-community in half.

Dlive was a great lesson for us all. We allowed them to leech from us and then they left. In the long run, better for stuff like that to happen early rather than late in the game. It's the lessons we learn the hard way that turn out to be the most valuable.
