So this film has been out for a while now. I missed it in the theater so I watched it on Netflix. The first thing I noticed was the ease that Thanos beat the Hulk. I was rather disappointed in that. Thanos of the comics has actually beat the hulk a couple times but he has been quoted as saying that the Hulk is one of his least favorite opponents because of how fierce of a competitor the hulk is. But at the end of the day he does beat the hulk and in one version of the multiverse, Thanos lives in the skill of Galactus with the Hulk as his pet.
I was also pretty sad to see how they made the hulk a complete bitch the rest of the movie. Just sad.
I was pretty happy with the rest of the movie.
I think they did an excellent portrayal of his love of Gamora. I could actually feel the sadness in him when he flung her off the cliff.
I don't think Thanos killed enough people though really. In the comic, he was riping Ironman in half and all kinds of good shit.
I did catch the Dr. Strange part that he said only one outcome would defeat Thanos then when he gave Thanos the time stone he told them it HAD to be this way. So that means he did what he did to put them on the course for that one outcome.
Thor has his new weapon and he can teleport through the cosmos with it and the handle is made out of Groot's arm so that is kinda cool. I laughed my ass off every time Thor called Rocket "rabbit". Thor was comic gold in this movie. Leaving the Guardians of the Galaxy and saying "good luck morons" got a good chuckle out of me also.
I think they did a good thing with Spiderman. It seems that his time in this movie is the only one that has done spiderman any justice. All of the previous Spiderman movies have been mediocre at best.
Vision was another disappointment now that I think about it. He got stabbed once at the beginning of the movie and limped around like he had the "man flu" the rest of the movie. Toughen up man. You have an infinity stone in your damn head, you sissy. Walk it off.
Why the hell did Black Widow have blonde hair? NO. That is bullshit. She is supposed to be a sexy redhead. This is unforgivable.
The little teaser after the credits shows that they are calling on Captain Marvel so we will see how that plays out.
What was your favorite / least favorite parts? What do you think they will do with Avengers: Endgame?
