A certain excessiveness seems a necessary element in all greatness.
Harvey Cushing

Describing myself is not always easy for me, but I'll definitely try to do my best. My name is Daniel Ramos and I'm studying my last year of medical school in Venezuela which sometimes, I have to say, it's not easy. Our country has been through difficult times but that has also teach us how to be better doctors. Most people become better in hard times.

Medical Career

Being a doctor is part of my family as my dad and grandfather are doctors and my two younger brothers are also studying medicine. I like neurosurgery as my future specialty, my mom got brain surgery several years ago and that absolutely got my attention so I start to read about the brain and it's functions.

¿Is music important?

I also enjoy music since I was a child, although I never learned how to play any instrument, I started playing my music as a DJ. Since my second year of medical school I've playing electronic music in my spare time, I've played in several night clubs all around the city and although I know it's not common for a doctor I really enjoy it.

That's just a part of who I'm am but I'll keep in touch with all of you so you'll get to know better in every post. Glad to join this community.

Here's a picture of me and also my social networks so we could get to know each other.

Welcome to the community, Best of luck

Dan dan dan, dan the man!!!! Welcome to Steemit! Why did Venezuelas economy crash? You can get an HB1Visa, no not an STD, and come to the US! We need doctors here so they can promote the over priced medical system. Welcome to Steemit! Follow me and I'll follow you back because I am awesome like that.

Thank you so much David, unfortunately so many things have happened since the our actual government rules the country and it's not getting better. Definitely US is one of my main options, I'm only a few months from graduating so hopefully soon I'll be there doing my best to become a neurosurgeon.

Yah, come to the U.S. Man! We might have a dingus as president who hates all brown immigrants, but that will change in a couple years!

Welcome to Steemit! Nice intro! Not easy to do, but it was short and sweet. Cool your family is all in the medical field and you're heading there too, best of luck. I do like that quote to start off your post, definitely true. Followed!
