On this day of the 8 week program I am undertaking calls for a rest day, because the back and legs are two of the biggest muscles on the body the program calls for a rest day between and after both of these days to optimally recover and to make sure your nervous system recovers well.
Because it was a rest day I just completed a variety of stretches and foam rolling to break up some knots in the muscles and keeping the muscles loose.
