I am a very lazy person, so for me learning a new skill seems similarly to climbing a mountain while being fat as "possible". But over the years i have gotten past the idea that i will ever not be lazy and got to a work around.
At any moment in your life, you want to try at least new 5 things, so try them all. If you feel to lift weights do that, if you feel like writting do that, etc. No matter how lazy you are or how hard it seems, you will always be in the mood for something for a short while. And when you are, do it then. Later, when you are in the mood for something else do that and so on. In time it is impossible to not develop at least one new skill, if not more.
