I am Zak Ludick and this is my journal and documentation of my progress with goals on and off Steemit.
Finally a weekend off! I did some long term shopping for the household and spent time with the kids. Nothing major like going out or having a party. Just good food, some treats and good times. The simple things in life are to be appreciated. My dad and I have been working on planting more vegetables and I have a few more herb plants in the house.
I hate washing my car but I like it to be clean so I did that. It is usually my Sunday thing... when I am not working a 12 hour shift haha!
Below I shall discuss my fiction writing.

What did I do to reach my goals? - Journal
I have begun posting my fiction writing once again. I wrote Raider of the Middle some time ago and I have noticed that I have improved when I compare it to newer work from me. However this is no excuse to my readers. So what I now do is every episode that needs to be published I comb through and alter to make it work better and flow better.
If you are a fiction writer then you are likely familiar with the common issues of "show not tell" and "dialogue tags". If you are a aspiring fiction writer and you do not know about these things then I can definitely recommend that you look it up. There are some good people to learn from right here on Steemit. Check out the "Tiny Teaches" Series at @tinypaleokitchen. The series deals with many of the writing issues that most beginner writers face.
I will be looking to show some of these myself in relation to my own work as an example. It would be interesting to note how my work has changed over time.
