American Made, the true American Hero Story.

Not really, but it is pretty interesting how an average Joe became one of the central figures in the drug trade in the late 70's and early 80's while also working as a covert operative for the CIA.

The film stars Tom Cruise as Barry Seal, the former TWA pilot turned CIA operative, turned Pablo Escobar number one drug smuggler.

The film is based loosely on the real life story of Barry Seal, which is stranger than fiction if you get the chance to read up on it.

An exciting unpredictable ride.

Throughout the whole film you are not quite sure what happens next and you find yourself rechecking the film to see if it really is based on a true story.

It is worth watching just to learn about this crazy story if you haven't heard about it before.

Overall I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

I would have rated it higher but I felt some of the points in the movie could have been explained a little better.

Watch it if you get the chance.
