I recorded the song in, 2012, while staying in Holland... I had a mobile studio, with Ableton Live running on a netbook... The folks I was staying with had the bass, and I had brought my Martin from the USA... I hung the mic from the ceiling fan, and the family had a 12 year old son who let me borrow his trombone... I am no pro, but I sort of just edited out what your ears might not wish to hear...
Why would I write an obnoxious funk song about meditating? I really love the mashup, being sort of sick of those lavender colored new age monotone youturd videos... I feel like, no sorry, the music I like sounds like THIS, but the things I like to think about are more like THIS...
I dunno if that makes sense, but this tune is about a guy who gets off his butt by sitting down and meditating... In the course of the song he gets enlightened, maybe... You decide!

The video was footage I shot in 2006, for a song I hadn't written yet... (LOL!) That was what I told the university of washington security when they asked me what was up... I had spread out, in the middle of red square, the world's largest crossword puzzle, and laid several random artifacts from my life in that period... I was sort of crazy back then, going through an 18-month divorce which I am still healing from...
