there are thing that are terrible to me.
First and most important is getting a down vote on my post. because you have to done lot of efforts while writing a post or a comment. A getting down vote really disappoints sometimes.
Another terrible thing that can happened to is to loose master password of your account and if you cant recover your account all the efforts and social circle you have made and time you have spent has gone to waste.

I have seen this a lot here on steem recently, some whales who can't handle criticisms as to how they handle their big stakes in the platform.

By hacking if you mean losing your master password, then there is other things that can happen and some are very stealth.
If you somehow post your ACTIVE PRIVATE key then, anyone can take your STEEM and SBD, thats not all they can set vesting withdrawal route to their account. So when you power down your STEEM POWER, they will receive liquid STEEM. This is a very small transaction and you may miss this if you do not check your activities often.
In addition to previous point, one can update your account authorities with their account, so if you change password those won't be removed and they will have continuous access.
Get blacklisted by SteemCleaners and Co., though you have to be very bad to be blacklisted. But if you are your Steem life will feel like hell.

even earned up to five steem which is not up to
ten dollars at current price of steem,some also
