If only a couple of decades ago it occurred to someone to say that we would end up dispensing with oil, coal and other fossil fuels in such a short term, they would certainly put him in a madhouse.

These three countries have been able to meet all the energy demand of their citizens using clean energy such as hydroelectric, wind, geothermal or solar, even Portugal produced more than necessary.

It is true that in all cases they are small countries where, a priori, it is easier to agree and satisfy more people but, undoubtedly, this shows that it can be done.

All this also favors the fact that each country meets its energy needs using its own resources, without depending on third countries, which, at a minimum, saves a lot of problems.
