I disagree with the idea of nsfw so I wont do this. I have had discussions about this tag in previous posts where I was posting nude photography of mine. I do not regard nudity as something we should feel ashamed of neither do I think that the workspace should have the right to restrict our sence for art. Also I think the title speaks for itself -everyone is responsible for what they are looking at. Finally I will never promote art cencoring!

I can appreciate that. Do you have a better idea for how we could handle something like this? Many people would prefer to not see nudity in their feeds, which is the point of the "nsfw" tag, but maybe there is a better way. Maybe if you changed the first picture to a non-nude one so that people scrolling through their feed don't see nudity if they don't want to. The nice part about the "nsfw" tag is that it allows people to hide things that they wouldn't want their kids to see for example while still allowing it to be available to those who do wish to see it.
Maybe steemit should just have an option to allow people to hide custom tags so that people could mark "nudity" as something that they don't want to see...

I think hiding is not a good way to educate children. They have a very good sense to find out about what is hidden from them and they also might loose trust. Also I think this community regulates nudity already in a good way. I like that it is not spammed with porn.
If you want to feel like sharing something "dirty" you can use the nsfw tag and hide it and people who feel it is something to be hidden will not see it.
In this contest I am looking for art and not pornograhy. The human form is a wonderful thing and should be appreciated because it is beautyful. The problem nowadays for me is that nudity is considered to be cool only with a muscular figure to sell some stuff on public comercial. I am rather sick of the all present half nudity than of an artwork that deals with the real human form or abstracts it to create something nice.

Haha, I think you are totally right! And I don't mean to compare your art to porn of course because the intent is completely different. Degrading vs appreciating.
I think some people simply feel that nudity is a special thing that shouldn't be taken lightly, and because they feel this way they don't want to see nudity except from their partner. Other people are trying to maintain pure thoughts or recover from a sexual addiction and whether it is presented artfully or not, it still triggers strong mental pathways that are hard to overcome. These type of people don't want to be surprised by it in their everyday browsing.
This is where I think having filters for each person could be helpful because people with drug addictions could be triggered by posts about drugs, though I guess that's different because they can't take the drug just by looking at it.
Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful discussion. It's given me a lot to think about. If only we were all just perfect so that we didn't have to worry about these types of things...

I think the NSFW tag means "Not Safe For Work", the original intent to not embarrass a person if their boss or colleague should happen to see it. By this I mean, I doubt it's aimed at protecting kids so much, as yoganarchista mentioned kids don't need protecting from images as much as we may think.
Filtering here is a big problem because whenever we post something we've worked hard on, we minnows want as many views as possible. More views means more upvotes, resteems, replies, and then even more views, in a feedback loop. Restricting the number of views from the start feels like killing my post before it had a chance. :)
