New Unity Guild : 05/01/18 : Daily Curation Project

in nuglife •  7 years ago

I want to try something new. I receive some pretty awesome posts on a daily basis so I think this might help if I share them with you all! That doesn't mean that if you send me your post, you'll automatically be curated, no. That might as well be a cluster-o-fuck. Alrighty, let's get to it!

NUGLIFE

@maximilianblanc

I'd like you to meet a new steemian who caught my attention for various reasons. For one, he's one of the few that found ways to escape the 9 to 5 and live a life that means something to him. Maybe reading his post can inspire more to live the life their way, on their own terms.

This person stands out to me not just because of this post, but because he has written several awesome spirituality posts. This one caught my attention because I've been working on my awareness through practicing mindfulness on a daily basis. I have definitely noticed a sort of one-upmanship in my self and in turn, see it in others. Where in the past I would speak on the level of awareness someone is portraying, I feel like I am not here for that at this moment. That's not my calling to call everyone out on their wokeness. Although, there are times when I do, if my brain senses tingle. If I feel compelled to speak on your wokeness it really is just me calling into question and attempting to expand my own. How will I know what I believe if I do not engage in a little debate every now and then, right?

The first thing he says in his post just grabs me and places so many people in my mind, including my self. Do you know anyone who seems super aware and awake but really could expand on it? You should, because everyone, whether they are aware of it or not, is expanding their awareness. That's just my perspective. Not to betaken as ultimate truth by any means. I do recommend working on expanding one's awareness, even if you feel you've reached max levels. In my mind, we all start at zero when we wake up from moment to moment. No one is Omni aware. The human condition is something none of us can escape, not that I know of, anyways. Then again, I've never taken psychedelics! Definitely willing to try it though, what an experience that would be.

Can you imagine being a rising EDM talent, about to perform the biggest croud of your life?! Well, I can't even fathom the energy these music makers and dreamers will get to experience up there on that stage. Let's make it happen with a push of a button. Boop!

Sounds unbelievable that we can, as a community of dreamers, support our dreams. Together, we can move mountains and manifest these dreams into fruition.

We could all use some sound advice from friends and family every now and then. We could. Often times I don't know where I would be right now if people that care for and love me didn't pass their nuggets of knowledge my way. I didn't always think like this, though. Matter of fact, I despised unsolicited advice. Things changed when I started hitting rock bottom and couldn't seem to get myself out of a hole solely on my brain power and capabilities alone. That's when I reached a level of acceptance that hey! I don't know everything.

By accepting other people's advice, I don't mean to let others define you. The way I see it is, the people closest to us can sometimes have within them, some hidden knowledge about our self. Maybe habits we hide from or ignore. Maybe we do things that we just are completely unaware of. Or maybe there's something they know about us that we don't know. To be honest I don't think of advice as attached to the person saying it but rather a separate thing. Once I do that I separate how I feel about that person who said it and see what the advice is, on its own. If it speaks to me, it speaks to me. If not, I Chuck it in the bucket and don't think twice. But if I do think twice, there's my answer. Do you have any solid life advice you've been wanting to share? Now is your chance to share it with us, fam.

Here is the life advice I shared:
