A good day starts with good breakfast. 🙏😇 The best feeling is your stomach is being filled with delicious food when you are hungry.

I have been quite a long time did not try layer cake even though I am a Sarawakian. For your information, layer cake is traditionally served in Sarawak especially during Chinese New Year. Thanks @zord189 for the blessing. 😊

And another typical thingy we do during Chinese New Year on West Malaysia is lou yee sang/prosperity toss. I do not think this is Chinese's ancient tradition because I do not know about this until I came to West Malaysia. It is declared as Malaysia Heritage Food.

This is basically an act to wish the best luck of the year. We will toss it up as high as we can and say auspicious words. It's normally serve as an appetizer, mixture of shredded vege with sweet and sour sauce. The yee sang we did is fruit type, something like fruit salad.

Chinese New Year is still ongoing, there comes with non-stop gatherings and eating. 😊 Fruits for appetizer after pizzas.
