haha! yes sir we're a wild bunch of gun-slinging maniacs who like to shoot things up and blow things to smitherines, you should here it around here at Christmas time and the 4th of July, it's like a war zone.

Yeah, trust me I can almost hear it from here! Texas is famous for being the place where people really enjoy their firearms the most (in the world maybe?). =)

Cheers!

haha! yes that's a fair assessment but I hear that Mexico citizens just ignore the gun laws down there and also go crazy shooting their guns into the air on holidays! but maybe that's just a myth.

@janton
They sometimes shoot but sadly not for celebration so much anymore...
Mexico has strict gun laws, like really strict compared to the US.
Quite surprising for many people.

But in Guatemala its like "open carry", or maybe people just don't give a damn, but last time I was in Guatemala there was many fairly normal people having picknicks with their families or something and the father would just casually have a handgun strapped to his belt.

well sir I know about the gun laws in Mexico that why I mentioned that from what I've read, the people just ignore them, but maybe that's just in certain parts of the country, it's a big place.
and it sounds like Guatemala has the same attitude which I didn't know, that's very interesting, it sounds like a very dangerous place to live from everything I've read.
you got great information, thank you sir friendly-fenix!

Yeah, I guess it is all depending on where you venture in Mexico certain parts might be more "old school", but Mexico is very civilized compared to Central America at least, there is Walmart and big city jeeps all over...

And Mexico City has it all, what ever you like its there,
one of the biggest cities in the world... =)

friendly-fenix! yes sir I've seen that about Mexico city being so huge, I don't like big cities but it would be interesting to visit if it was with someone who knew the city well.
