Plastic bottles were never intended to be used as dog toys, they are fragile to dog bites and will begin tear after being crumpled in your dog’s jaws. Piercing and cutting into plastic holds great risk to your dog’s health as the sharp edges can potentially cut around your dog’s mouth, tongue and gums.

Some plastic bottles will have screw on caps or other tops that can be removed with enough force. These are small solid pieces of plastic that can be potentially swallowed by your dog or puppy.
