Seems lately we have only a few hours each day without rain. Every night lately I can hear the pounding of the rain on the metal roof of our house.
A day lite the rain slowed down and I ventured on in the yard for a few floral shots. Mostly periwinkles and a couple of Hibiscus.

one of the things i love is rain on a tin roof. grew up with it and now just enjoy it every time it rains at our home. some people don't like the noise so they buy tile roof houses - this is one noise that i love.

When I growing up the only time we had a tin roof is when we visited my grandmother’s house in Canada. An old farm house. We slept on the second floor and there was no insulation and no ceiling, Very loud and I loved it.
When it rains here in the Philippines, it comes down very hard. Still love the sound, especially while sleeping.
