I Miss My Old House

This first picture is of the woods behind our old house. I loved this house! The woods were beautiful when it was raining, with the fog. Across the street was a cow farm that faced the bay!

The water was a 10 minute walking distant from our house. We use to sit there at night listening to the waves break against the shore, seagulls flying above, and eat snowballs. It was heaven!

reminds me of when we lived on Harkers Island NC . man do I miss it .
Nice memories .

The funny thing is we still live in the same area, about 15 minutes away. It's just you don't find the time, when it is not right next door. Plus, the house is owned by someone else, so you can't knock on the door and say; "it's suppose to rain tomorrow, can we have a sleep over?" Ok, that sounded a little weird but you know how I meant it lol

We are making a list of places we want to visit before we move and North Carolina, the outer banks, is on it :)

I know what you mean
We just don't have the time and when we do it seem like we just go to Doctors appointments . Maybe with spring coming it will change .
I keep telling the wife we should be on a boat sailing the Island . She just gives me a dumb look and walks away

Yup, same here. i'm hoping the same for us. All I want to do is travel and experience life instead of watching it. We have 2 1/2 years to save the money and then we should be able too. That's the plan anyway :)
