My trip to The Parthenon in Nashville!

in photography •  7 years ago

Hello Steemers!

For our one year anniversary my husband surprised me by taking me to some places I've never been that I wanted to go to. Downtown Nashville. I loved it! We went to The Parthenon, It was way bigger than I expected it to be! Its in a huge park called Centennial Park. There was a lot of things to do, but this was the only thing we did because it was so hot and humid. Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed it!

Niceee :)

Thanks!!♥

Wow! What a neat anniversary gift! Normally I am more interested in the designs of nature than in the structures of man, but I've always loved certain kinds of architecture, and those types of buildings are one type I find to be just... majestic!

Thanks!! Me too! They are so interesting! But so cool!

Wow! I didn't know there was a Parthenon in Nashville. This is the kind of thing I wouldn't expect to see in America. Great pictures!

Oh ya! It's so cool! Thanks!

Bonito lugar. Felicidades una pareja muy linda.

Muchas gracias!!😃

Awesome post babe! I loved taking you there. We will go again to see the rest of the park!

.....in winter.

Thanks my Love! Haha, deal!

Winter:

Where everything in Tennessee is simply tolerable.

It's when it finally cools down to 80 degrees.

Hahaha!

If you guys are into hot/spicy foods, time to take a spin around the local Hot Chicken Restaurants: Pepperfire, Haddie B's, 400 Degrees, Princes or Helen's Hot Chicken. Enjoy!

My husband LOVES hot/spicy food! We will check it out! Thanks! Are you from Nashville?

I am. This is a great town, if you can ignore the growing traffic issues.

Oh cool! We are too! What part?

I'm north of town in Hendersonville and work out of Whites Creek. My job has me traveling in and around the city on the regular basis, so I am very familiar with the terrain. It's always a challenge to navigate the morning/afternoon rush hours on any given day.

Oh that is cool! We're like next to you! Haha!

It is really nice that these buildings are still well maintained. Many of the older buildings in Malaysia they have demolished it "for the sake of development"

I know! Crazy!

wow nice....happy anniversary to both of you

Aw thanks!!😃

Nice job! Your travels and photos @alovelymess are pleasing to me! Enjoy with me the summer in Ukraine!
