Inconsolable.
Last summer myself and a photographer friend went to a local indoor BMX track. It was a huge warehouse in the middle of an industrial estate, landscaped with sand, car tires, and various lenghts of "DO NOT CROSS" tape.
On the day, there were kids racing for a competition, and not being used to sports in low light, I struggled to get any decent shots. At one point however, I happened to look over my shoulder and caught this moment outside in the sunlight. I think it tells a part of the days story that might not usually be told.
Nikon D750. Tamron 28-75mm.

Beautiful photo. I caught myself on inventing the story behind the photo. :) Very touching.
